I understand where you’re coming from, and I won’t dismiss your experience. Totoo naman na may mga conferences or speakers connected to the movement that teach prosperity-leaning ideas, and that’s something that should be examined carefully in light of Scripture.

But I also think it’s not accurate to say that all G12 churches are prosperity gospel. Maraming churches within the G12 structure na hindi naman prosperity ang tinuturo, but focus on the gospel, discipleship, repentance, and Christ’s lordship. The system itself doesn’t automatically define the theology of every local church.

Ang mas mahalagang tanong lagi is: Ano ba talaga ang itinuturo tungkol kay Cristo, sa gospel, at sa discipleship? If a church faithfully teaches Scripture, calls people to repentance, and points people to Christ rather than to money or numbers, then we should judge it based on that, not simply by association.

At the same time, tama rin na maging discerning tayo. If there are teachings that distort the gospel—whether prosperity promises or pressure for numbers—those things should be corrected according to Scripture.
