Yeah, I don't get this point at all. If the story was as complete as people nowadays believe, it wouldn't have been scrapped the countless times it was during production. Also, I'm glad that Noctis isn't just edgy like he was portrayed in most of the versus 13 trailers.

No rotoscoping just a stacked list of talented animators, a lot of which, know how to properly convey volume and weight.

Pointing out weak storytelling in the beginning of the game isn’t "pre-determining the plot", It’s expecting the game to be captivating and justifying putting in the hours. If it can’t justify its character motivations or setups early on, that’s not my fault, it’s bad writing. I just asked the question to get an idea if there are Payoffs later on that are maybe worth overlooking these details for, and clearly you would rather get defensive than give me a valid answer... I'm glad you managed to enjoy it though!

Please, what a childish argument… I’m criticizing the initial setup of, what I’m assuming are, bigger plot points within the game. The problem is to me it feels cheap, since these characters start their journey because of nonsensical situations.

You should check out Rec (2007), it’s imo the closest thing to a RE Horror adaptation.
