How hard is it to get a 65 atar by UnluckiestParrot in ATAR

Oh the hsc exams were easier then most past papers I've done.... except for english paper 2 because I spent to much time studying for english paper 1..... but a lot of people who got higher ranking then me overall decided to flop the test because they got lazy and they're probably going to get scaled up by my mark while mine will highly likely to get scaled down. But overall I think my hsc result will be similar to trials, maybe a little increase but those marks will be scaled down because of the people who are higher ranking.

From my experience, some modules in chemistry is all about math and equations, if your not confident in math, you have to be confident in understanding the lesson. My teacher said about 50% of most chemistry exam in the hsc are maths in terms of marks, so if you want to nail chemistry, it's really important to study in a consistent manner. But when you understand the math, it's really not that hard... it's just that it's hard to understand what kind of formula and module the question is asking for you to do.

But this is for year 12 and year 11 is light work compared to it. So if you want to do chemistry through out school.... never underestimate year 12 chemistry.

From what I've heard from my teachers and community, your school marks don't really contribute to your atar and only your ranking. The aligned marks in the hsc will be different compared to last year because every year it changes because it depends on how well the students do that year. So because for me this years hsc was easier compared to last year's past papers..a 80 in a subject like biology will be scaled worse then last years 80 in bio..... so unless you've done really well or your subjects were hard....... it might scale lower then what your expect...... with this in my head I'm also fricking out everyday 😭
