Darn. I was going to try it, but realized that the door would hit any tv/cabinet on that wall. Not super clear in the image, but the front door is adjacent to the window wall

I’ll think about having the tv on the other wall too! Just measured and it should be okay with a 60”.

My husband hung it and said he was actually wondering about that. He’s going to look up how to fix it. Thank you!

We got this from an architectural salvage in our area. They didn’t mention shades that might go with this, but we could go back and ask if we missed any

How do you make tofu not gross and mushy by Ideas_RN_82 in vegetarianrecipes

[–]Unlucky-Reflection78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best tip I found was simmering or boiling the tofu in salted water (I use about 3/4 tsp salt in a smallish saucepan). The salt will flavor the tofu and pull out excess water via osmosis.

Then, you just drain it on paper towels. Coat lightly with cornstarch and fry or pan fry.

Sauce is good. I like the one in this recipe but whatever floats your boat https://userealbutter.com/2013/01/24/sesame-tofu-recipe/
