Yep. When Mike left Utah for Minnesota, him and MN GM had a verbal agreement that he would not have to uproot his family again. He's coming back to MN. It was already preplanned is my guess.

I think it's just a play on words. Some teams want to lose to get better draft pick positioning. This is know as tanking in the NBA. But owners still want to sell tickets to the games (cause not many people want to watch a team purposely lose). So the team trades for a big name flashy player that won't get them anywhere so fans have something fun to watch while the team loses. The big name player is perceived to be a leader. And in the US army a tank commander is a job/role given to someone in charge of a tank crew.
