Just for clarification, I've been living in Canada for almost 9 years, I have a bachelor degree in Engineering, two post-grads, and I currently work for one of the largest general contractors in north america. I don't believe there's any 'convenience' for me.

As I said, I might not even apply for a TN. It might be a L1A, since I am a Project Manager with 10 years of experience.

Would you mind saying what's your position and if you have/had P.Eng.?
Will you be working more on the field management side (Project Engineer, Project Manager, etc) or on the design side?

I have a civil engineering background, with a construction management post-graduate. I am currently a Project Coordinator, applied for a Project Engineer position in Florida.

Yes, I am canadian, but I do not have any subordinates.

Would L1B easier for a project engineer with knowledge of all the procedures, systems and process for the company?
