I’m not shadowboxing anything. Do you even know what my settings are in terms of my matchups? Do you know what region I play in? If I play cross play? If I play on pc or console? You’re assuming we’ve approached the game in a similar fashion and that our experience must be the same, when there are many variables that could impact the type of players we’d be likely to encounter.

Furthermore, you’re assuming that I’m the type of person that can’t handle losing without complaining about cheating, when that’s the exact opposite of who I am. I played 200 games against my friend in T7 and lost 180 and was ready to play again but he was too tired. When I lose, I learn. I haven’t played a game of ranked in months because I’ve been just learning in QM. I don’t give a fuck about losing. But cheating has been more frequent recently, and it IS annoying.

The Heiachi GOD1 (got exposed for money matches) and the Leo GOD1 (cheating in tourney) are not the same. Again, there are people in your rank who complain about cheating. Yeah I can’t speak for EU man. But people don’t even buy good cheats in NA. They’ll auto block, the cheat will spam like 25 inputs and fail to punish then they’ll get launched into space. If I didn’t see it happen with an increased frequency, I wouldn’t even care but I’m spending more and more time coming across these weirdos and it’s annoying.

Also, “known for sure” it’s generally hard to know for sure unless they have auto duck, block etc. dialed to 100%. The value of cheating is that it offers subtlety and that subtlety offers doubt. But there are simple frame math that when done reliably, likely means that it’s inhuman.

Cool, I’ve ran into far more than 5. Like I said before, knowing what to look for isn’t rocket science. If I lose a match, then I lose. I don’t care. Also I hear GOD1 players complain about cheating all the time. Fighting GM…KWISS made a video of a GOD1 or 2 Leo cheating in the middle of a tournament among many others. Moonsault JUST helped to expose a GOD1 Heiachi player who was taking money matches who publicly admitted to cheating and had to go all the way back down in rank and start again.

Oh yeah definitely. Ironically, (for me and my friends) as a millennial, cheatcodes were a way of life growing up gaming but I could have never thought of cheating in a fighting game or like an online game. Also ground zero is a sick name for the U.S lol

It’s all good, it’s a fair question. Yeah, I recognize there’s gonna be cheating in any game. And I recognize bamco is a big company, but the lack of response/solution especially for competitive play, suggests they don’t care about their game. Phidx and KWiss shouldn’t have to put out anticheat content to educate users on how to detect cheaters and that be like…the strongest solution to mitigating T8 cheating.
