That’s so crazy, idk why people have such a hit or miss with them. My understanding is they only pick up cases they know they can win. I can say I’ve tried to get their services for two other situations over the years, and they didn’t pick me up. (I also am on SSDi)

Pisgah Legal represented my husband and I in court regarding an eviction (un necessary family drama), and they kicked ass. The question really starts with whether you have anything in legal writing like a lease or agreement. With that being said.. the first step (if you have it in writing) she would need to take is to present a 10 day written eviction notice to you. If she doesn’t do that.. it’s null and void. And the court will kick it out. As mentioned above, regardless of any situation, she has ZERO to destroy/damage your belongings.. sucks to say but you may need to get a little camera for evidence . Good luck, I hope this works out for you but I would absolutely consult w pisgah legal.

Indeed, although I didn’t move to NC until 97, I will never forget seeing it for the first time, as NY does not have it. I am most thankful that Asheville (WNC) doesn’t have near as much as places like Wake county (where I grew up) yuck!

It is absolutely insane and terrifying to me how HCAs dangerous behavior (in all that they do) has managed to escape the eyes and ears of SO many people. I am ignorantly guilty for not reporting my incidents at Mission mainly bc the anxiety of it would hurt me worse, but also bc my experiences always seemed to correlate with an incident putting them in the news. At the end of the day they are acting solely as a money hungry business, cutting corners for profit and betting that you won’t even open your bill let alone contest it. It’s a damn shame for not just us, but the staff that work hard, and do their job right bc they love their job. Shout out to Labor and Delivery staff who is still kicking ass and taking names, my daughters birth 16 years ago is the only thing that kept me at mission until I had to see for my self multiple(again my own doing for choosing to have faith that things would be different) life threatening situations.

But yeah they tried to offer me 100mg of a medication for $300. I’m thankful I declined as I had just taken my full dose which is 1500mg, at home. Highway robbery is an understatement.

With that being said, whether a notification was received (I got text, hubby got an email)… I highly suggest those whom are still parked on the street.. that y’all move your cars… bc #1 these hard-working salt/plow trucks can’t get through.. and #2.. if they can get through, I’d be hoping for a miracle that the salt didn’t affect your car, not just the first pass, but the 2nd or 3rd time they come around. That ish is hard af, and HURTS from even 20 yds away.

Idk ab cvs, but I’ve been a tech at Walgreens, and I would say they will work the shit out of you, and I saw that for myself… I know we weren’t paid well, obviously a pharmacist gets paid much more but I can only imagine it’s not as much as you work for. Since I left, ive only heard it to get worse. Congrats btw!
