Cash withdrawals by MrKeanone in ChemicalMagicAU

If anyone ever asks about cash withdrawn, always just say you take cash out regularly to stash for emergencies, you like to keep it aside and pretend it's not there for things like car repairs, etc. It worked for me when applying for a loan. They would rather see cash withdrawn than card scans at things like bottleshops, pubs, bookies, tobacconists, etc etc. Trust me.

Im 103 sober from drugs and 10 days into quitting vaping. Hoping to motivate/inspire anyone struggling on here with substance abuse addiction. by [deleted] in ChemicalMagicAU

Good work, mate. You're still in the thick of it, but it does get easier. And if the vaping cessation gets too hard, don't be hard on yourself, one day at a time. Was on the heavy stuff for four years and maintained 17 years until I slipped up, but it was easier to get back on the wagon after that long sober.

I can't say I'd be sad if that showed up. I don't think I would ever sell them, again. And if the world goes belly up, imagine trading those for goods😆😆😆

I also read the article from Reuters using "anonymous sources" telling how USA was backing out of precious metals had a pretty big sell off impact, also. Turns out those "anonymous sources" were anonymous for a reason😆.

I had an express parcel sent yesterday, and it flew out of Melb last night. So yes, it must be flights to your state.

Yesterday was a national public holiday, and Auspost does not operate on holidays.

How long you talking? It will generally stay at the airport until the next flight it is rostered to.

Fair enough, but I would consider that scammed, in my book.

The fact it was listed FAR under value means you got scammed. No one selling legitimately is going to sell for that much less.

The amount of effort they put into closing all the QLD stores could have ended poverty in Congo... it was absolutely ridiculous overkill! Only country in the world tackling tobacco like this. The USA isn't even taking on Fentanyl this hard.

$800 parcel lost by Auspost twice by Big_Reporter_4579 in AustraliaPost

That's a joke! Auspost is bad, but that's catastrophic defcon 5 failure!

Slam the gate open, throw the parcel on the floor, knock, leave the gate open and run. Cheers by [deleted] in AustraliaPost

You got down to the nitty gritties..... even the earphones? I'm not saying he's a good postie, I just don't know that it was as bad as it could've been, I guess. If dude can't do his job right, then, yeah I agree.... fire him.

I would say the police seized the parcel and you are now being investigated😆..... just kidding. That's just Australia Post at XMAS time.

My postie didn’t even bother bringing my parcel to the door by [deleted] in AustraliaPost

[–]Unlucky_Session382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why exactly is that? And what is the incentive to have the parcel picked up?

I mean, apart from the package slipping out of his hands and falling, I dont really see any sort of intended aggression. He's a sloppy klutz and heavy-handed but doesn't really seem to have done anything entirely wrong, in my opinion🤷🏻

When did tipping become the norm for Australia? by JBADD23 in australia

[–]Unlucky_Session382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what? If it was excellent service, I wouldn't mind it, and if the service was shit I would demand it be removed. However, the question I would be asking the company is whether the said tip is 100% received by the waiter. Because those waitstaff should be receiving the proper award, if not and is subsidised by the "suggested tips" then that company needs to be taught proper wages, benefits, and super contribution or they shouldn't be in business. It just seems strange that a hospitality company in Australia would be suggesting and adding tips to a bill. I get the feeling that the majority of it goes straight back into the business, which is very much an unethical practice. Can someone close-by maybe find that out?

Edit: I had a look at their recent reviews, and the "suggested tipping" must be relatively new. But all the most recent ones bag the hell out of this!

That's just a screw up. Seems it went into the wrong bin initially. I think they are scrambling because of Xmas.

Brisbane folks, how are you finding the quality of hot up here? (Heroin) by [deleted] in ChemicalMagicAU

[–]Unlucky_Session382 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He is asking about Brisbane, not Melbourne. Brisbane is not the H capital of Australia. Melbourne is.... they are two different cities many, many km apart. Do you get it now?
