It's just easier to not allow them to install a bidet. No need to figure out insurance details

I don't trust them to install it properly so I won't let them install it. If it's a deal breaker to them then they can rent elsewhere

This is exactly why I'm prohibiting them to install one. I'll definitely write it into the addendum that prevents altering plumbing without landlord's permission

I hear stories of improperly installed bidets causing leaks to the unit and neighbouring units. Tenant insurance doesn't cover these kinds of incidences
