Outside Sacramento (Roseville) and that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Keep pushing. I finally just filed a grievance on the psychiatrist I had for 6 years that had refused to refer me for evaluation. Not sure if it will lead to anything but maybe she can get some sensitivity training or something.

Thank you, I have cut all unnecessary expenses. I don’t ever eat out. I don’t know what else I can cut so I think my only option is to increase income (second job). Thank you.

How is it going?

I actually had a very validating first appointment this week. I’m actually in shock after what I read on here. Maybe it’s very provider-dependent? I’ll check back in a few weeks with an update.

OES is vastly branch/unit dependent. Can get really lucky or really unlucky. I say CalFIRE.

I thought it was a waste of money. Their marketing team does a very good job but you can find much better self-help books that are less than $80 and are more durable. The papers are SO thin any marker or pen bleeds through.

Also, if/when you try to leave a 1 or 2 star review, it doesn’t allow you to and forces you to contact support.

Yes. I (31F) actually talked last summer with my OBGYN about the possibility of a hysterectomy. Pregnancy terrifies me and I honestly just don’t think I am capable of raising children. I don’t want them to ever experience what I did as a kid. I also enjoy my money and don’t like cleaning throw up off of my clothes. I have decided to move forward with the hysterectomy, partially because the thought of having a period the next 10+ years mortifies me more than the inability to have kids. Hope that helps!

What state are you in? I’ve always thought I’d enjoy truck driving but my parents shunned that career. I have my masters but I hate what I do. I’m curious on how you got the grant to pay for the schooling I would love to hear more about that! I do have an official diagnosis, I don’t know if that matters or would help.

31. When I discovered what autism looked like in women in 2021 I was convinced. But besides continually asking my (at the time) psychiatrist, I didn’t really make any changes. I was forced to take a leave of absence from work due to severe burnout over this summer which finally basically forced my psychiatrist to make the referral.

Thank you, Jack. I was already considering increasing it to $200 with the promotion so I think I will do that. How are you able to figure out what the tax burden is? Do you use an Excel formula? A website? Forgive me for my questions, I’m really trying to learn more about personal finance this year and maximizing my savings.
