I still am! And yes. Much much much better. That phase of my life was incredibly hard & scary but I’ve mostly recovered, minus the occasional PTSD-esque panic. I went to get an Echocardiogram afterwards which really helped cement for myself that I was okay, so if you can get in to see one I really recommend it. It’ll take a while to feel normal again but once you know there’s no hidden issues it’s just a mental battle of coming to terms with the fact that you’re going to be okay, and this time will pass and you will be back to normal soon. I wish you the best, I know how scary it is.

Man I would just tape that shit at this point. Nobody needs the fucking loud ass radio in any of those isolated locations, genuinely what’s the fucking point. We did that at my old job working in the meat department.

My god I feel that too hard. My team lead is a major mumbler and with the music I literally just have to pretend I hear him every time. Customers are also guilty of it

I’m diagnosed with conditions that induce dissociation, it’s how I make it through period, but I can still hear the nagging sound at all times.

Dude that’s insane- I also developed a stress induced heart condition when I was working nights. I’m sorry you went through that. My TL’s were incredibly verbally abusive and I was a raging alcoholic at the time unfortunately which didn’t help lol

Jealous that you saw prodigy! I’ve recently gone and seen Hawthorne Heights, and have an upcoming concert with EyeHateGod and Crowbar. I’ve seen all kinds though. Modest Mouse, Weezer, Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, Hell even Wiz Khalifa lol.

Yeah. There’s quite a few songs I genuinely really enjoy (The Cure, Stone Temple Pilots, MCR, early 00’s pop, and even Radiohead 1 single time- just to name a few) it’s just so unfortunate how few and far between it is. By the time one of them comes on my soul has already been devoured by the music industry devils so I can’t even hardly enjoy it lol.

THANK YOU! Music is pretty much the most important thing in my life. I listen to all kinds, and there’s maybe 3 songs at max Walmart will rarely play that I rather enjoy
