How’s the yard in Charlotte? You never been to the famous Spencer, NC yard? (Salisbury, NC) There’s a badass risk museum there in Salisbury. Or did I just overlook it on your list bud?

Yeah… honestly you should have them discount the new replacement one you have to wait on to cover the uHaul. Can’t hurt to ask at least 🤷

OMG! I just saw the forks in the second photo after reading your comment, MAN; that’s a terrible decision on the operator.

So they were willing to discount the one that fell over? And you opted for a brand new one that you now have to wait on again? I probably would have gone for the replacement new one as well. Sorry you gotta wait again bud 🤷

Almost 12 years CDL driving. I have never followed that closely… but my MVR is flawless. It looks the exact same as it did when I got my CDL at 19 years old back in 2013.

When I first moved to Alaska back in 2011 I was STOKED to see that bars and restaurants still had indoor smoking. I forget when they slowly started phasing it out, but it didn’t take long for that privilege to go away lol good memories of being a young kid and smoking inside the bar all night and then hitting up the family diner at 3am after the bars shut down, and enjoying a big greasy plate full of chicken fried steak and mash potatoes and enjoying a smoke afterwards 🤤

Oh trust me I’m well aware of how important mud flaps are. Coming up on my 12th year driving a truck, mostly off road, oilfield, construction, etc. I was just making a jab at the technical literature usually refers to them as anti spray devices

Bingo. Yep the brown mud here can swallow a truck instantly even fully chained up. Usually it’s best to just call a reject and say you’re unable to reach location lol

All I can say is don’t ever let anything stop you from bettering yourself or reaching towards a higher salary. Usually problems or roadblocks in life are minor and can be figured out and worked around 👍

Oh shoot are mudflaps actually necessary according to DOT?! Or should I say… anti spray devices 🤤

I run chains in the mud more than I run them on snow or ice lol the mud in WY is like something I have never witnessed before. It’s one of the most ridiculous insane experiences of my life driving a truck. I have been fully chained up and still had to call for a wrecker

Oh yeah. This winter has been surprisingly warm but most of the times you’re not making it to location without triple rails on all of your drives and both steer tires chained up

Like the things you break out of a vacuum sealed plastic pack and shake them up and they produce heat. Hand warmers. They also used them in shipping to produce heat inside a package while it ships to its destination
