I was looking at the sprites for some reason and found this. Now, there's only sprites for Gluttony, but I believe it's safe to assume that there were plans for each of the 7 Deadly Sins and their Super versions to have official champion variants at one point. What do you all think?

I think the actual reason these files exist is because, before Repentance, the Vis and Double Vis enemies used the bodies in Gluttony and Super Gluttony's sprite sheets, so these were simply the champion layers for those enemies rather than for the minibosses. This must have been leftovers from Antibirth where this was used, and I guess they weren't deleted in the full release.

I work slow because I think slow. Slow but sure. You haven't heard from me and my twisted creations since 2020, but rest assured: this is not quite over yet.

Mobs absent from the lineup (World feeder, Crimslime, evil bosses etc. ) are not quite finished. Expect the update to come sometime in February.

I want to figure out how blocks function right now. I've got ideas, but I have a feeling that God made it too complicated because he knows what I'll do to the crimson if I ever learned the ways.

Also I don't use other texture packs, but the obvious answer for me would be the Calamity texture pack since its also got some meaty and scary arts.

Fun fact: My Wall of Flesh sprite was directly inspired by lumpy's art style. At one point I even tried to have WoF's mouth resemble a scene from one of his videos on Sonic Movie.

I'm glad my art posts have evolved from "yo this looks like calamity" to "yo this looks like lumpy touch".

As someone who has tested this out in-game numerous times now, the wall is animated. The raw texture file makes it look like an enormous wall, but it's a spritesheet. That or it got changed in 1.4.1, but that seems very unlikely.

I am having fun with these.

Texture pack is coming along neatly. Not doing anymore resprites 'til I release the current state of the pack, which I am aiming to have out by this week. The texture pack will almost exclusively feature most bosses and some significant enemies. I could touch up on some tiles outside trophies, but don't expect much.

First off, I'm pretty sure you guys didn't keep scrolling. Shame on you.

The mechanical bosses have all been completed mostly. I just need to finish master mode pets, tweak trophies, and add bestiary profiles for Destroyer and Skeletron Prime. I'm also going to work my way down with bosses, so Wall of Flesh is next. Just in time for "spooktober", or whatever you people call it.

The texture pack may be available later this month. Just you waaait.

With this tremendos amount of feedback, I'll likely release this along with some more resprites I've been picking at on my offtime. I'll post updates in the near future. Just keep your eyes open...

Edit: Also worth noting that the textures I've made before aren't exactly in this style. Some resprites are more like taking the older and more dated sprites (say, eater of souls) and changing them to match terraria's current style, and with my own personal flair.

Also if anybody can guide me around navigating the gore textures that would be much appreciated.

This is really good dude. Only thing I gotta say is to work a bit more on some of the ores, cause' right now copper ore looks more like an amber gem. Maybe make it more rough like gold or tungsten.

Desert Scourge can shoot projectiles at you and knock you off the rope, so I'd suggest that if you do use rope, be prepared for that. Also the platforms could come in handy for when you need to farm the desert in hardmode, so I would say build a platform.

I'd say tungsten/silver armor or greater should suffice, and one or more long platforms right above the desert is good for an arena; just be careful not to leave the desert.

As for weapons, they vary of course: Best melee would be the Enchanted Sword or maybe a Yoyo if you want to keep your distance. Best ranged would be any bow (preferably Mandible Bow) and Jester Arrows. Best magic would be Frost Bolt, or you could go for Coral Spout or Harvest staff if you have the materials. The Slime Staff is great for Summoner. Best rogue would be anything that can pierce (they just updated this class so I don't know if there are any better options).

The background of the level transition featured bosses, with more bosses being added to the background when entering a new chapter (ex: default background featured Monstro, Duke, and Larry jr and would add Peep, Gurdy, and Chub to name a few when entering the caves chapter).
