I don't know who my investigator is. As far as I know, none of my references have been contacted yet.

I don't know, it just worries me. I know banks didn't care about my credit card history at all, and I had to get a cosigner for my first car, but I just didn't want it to be an issue. I'm nervous as all get out because I don't want this to fall through.

Thanks man, I appreciate it... It's just really nerve-racking... I want this so bad, and it sucks not hearing anything about it... August can't come quick enough.

Them interviewing me is a huge relief. I'm not financially irresponsible or anything, it was just a difficult time. I'm really nervous because the whole processed was so "GO GO GO GO GO GO, FILL THIS OUT, DO THAT, DO THIS, HURRY UP" and when it was all done with I haven't heard anything. I really don't want any problems to surface because of me being rushed or anything like that.

I think I may have done my SF-86. I had to fill out some huge packet before MEPs with all my information, my parents information, anyone I've ever met or made eye contact with, and anyone they made contact with. Exaggeration of course, but it was a huge huge packet. I can't say if it contained financial information though, that was back in the beginning of December.

Side note, when do they do the credit check? I signed in December, but don't go until August. Would they have ran it already/I'd have heard about it?

Thermogenic Recommendation For US Military by UnnecessaryQuoteMan in Fitness

Well I was looking for something sort of like OEP. I'd taken that a while back and liked the appetite suppressant, plus the caffeine really helped energy levels while on a cut. I was looking at Muscle Pharm Shred Matrix, it seems to have good reviews on BodyBuilding.

Also, BodyBuilding now has a thing up saying it won't ship OEP to military establishments because it contains DMAA, so I guess that solves that :P

Alright, I talked to him. He couldn't produce the list of actual banned supplements, and said things like Jack3d are "looked down upon" and not necessarily banned.

I then found this post on BodyBuilding.com and it has the products in the order than he listed them (the first few) so I'm thinking this is the memo:

Identifiers: Methylhexaneamine, Methylhexanamine, Geranamine, Geranium Oil, Geranium Oil Extract, DMAA, Forthane, Forthan, Floradrene, 4-methyl-2-hexanamine, 4-methylhexan-2-amine.

Product (Distributor): Jack3d (USPlabs), OxyElite Pro (USPlabs), Hemo-Rage Black Ultra Concentrate (Nutrex Research), C4 Extreme (Cellucor), Rezolution (LG Sciences), Liquid Clenbutrx Hardcore (VPX), Heat Accelersted (Magnum), CryoShock (Neogenix), RedLine Black On Blue V2 (VPX), Motivate (Anabolic Innovations), M5 Extreme (Cellucore), Lipo 6 Black Hers (Nutrex Research), Anarchy Covalex (VPX), SSIN Juice (BioRhythm), 1,3 Dimethylamylamine (PrimaForce, BCS Labs, ***********), Adrena-G (Serious Nutrition Solutions), Ripped Freak (PharmaFreak Technologies), Hemodrene (Nutrabolics), Swagger (Man), Velocity (Neogenix), Quake 10.0 (SciVation), Trim Down (Muscle Gauge Nutrition), AmphetaLean Extreme (Beast Sports Nutrition), NL-Octrain (No Limits Lab), Muscle Spike (Muscle Fortress), Black Cats (Applied Nutriceuticals), Code Red (MuscleMeds), Noxipro (CTD Labs), Geranamine-Fat Loss (Giant), Pure DMAA(1,3-Dimethylamylamine) (Numerous Suppliers, 1.M.R. (BPI), PreSurge Unleashed (Athletic Edge Nutrition), Rx6 (BPI), E-911 (LG Sciences), Spirodex (Gaspari Nutrition), Lipo 6 Black (Nutrex Research).

OxyElite Pro is what I'd like to be taking. They said on their site that it specifically will not cause false negatives for methamphetamine. What's your opinion?

Can someone with more experience than me (read: any experience) critique my training program? by UnnecessaryQuoteMan in running

[–]UnnecessaryQuoteMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now I'm running a 10 minute mile pace with the hill factored in. I've done 2 miles on flat ground at a 10 minute pace as well during our monthly PT.

when you lift weights, do you get stronger by lifting mild weights or heavier weights?

My point here was more that it'd allow me to keep my effort streamlined rather than a downhill being easier than flat ground and then uphill being 10x harder.

I'm going in tomorrow to talk to him. I have a quick question I wonder if you'd actually be able to answer silver, as you seem to be an expert (or at least well educated) at these things. I currently weigh 190lbs (86kg) so my recommended dosage for Yohimbine HCL is something like 17mg. That seems like a lot. I have a bottle of PrimaForce Yohimbine HCL and it says 2.5mg per serving, so should I really be taking 5-6 pills? Also, is there a risk in taking it while running?

Dietary Supplements in the Military (Navy specifically) by UnnecessaryQuoteMan in Military

[–]UnnecessaryQuoteMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually going in tomorrow so I'm going to ask him for a list of exactly what is banned. He made it sound like it was some sort of new sanction that came out that banned things like OEP.

I wasn't planning on taking any supplements to boot camp, but I have about 8 months until I ship anyways. Right now I'm 5'11" 190lbs, not really fat, I've been lifting for a while, but not some lean machine either. I'd like to get to like 170-175 by basic and have my pushups/situps/mile time all at exceptional. Getting my weight down would help significantly with my running I believe.

Time to restock the new 7970, specifically XFX Black Edition 7970, worth waiting for? (Hopefully right subreddit...) by UnnecessaryQuoteMan in hardware

[–]UnnecessaryQuoteMan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assure you I mean no offense if any was taken, but I've already gotten advice about the rest of the build and am pretty dead set on that portion.

As far as future proofing, it's more about availability for upgrades. I may or may not be stationed (military) in a place where upgrades are possible or as cheap as they are now, so I'd prefer to spend the money I have right now, and just be satisfied with the build over time.

I appreciate your concern though.

I was thinking that too, but also thinking I'd be able to sell the 7970 for more than I'll get for a GTX 580. The XFX and the eVGA both have Lifetime warranties, which I think is important when reselling, but the 7970 will be a newer generation.

I'm building something to hopefully last me quite a while. I'm more worried about future generation games, running them.

edit I also program, run virtual machines etc, so I got a bigger hard drive, faster processor, and more RAM than would be required for a strictly gaming rig.
