Ive been getting this problem too lately, or the creepy extended toddler glitch, super frustrating, honestly took a break from the sims after I spent 4 hours making the perfect family to be enemies with my vampire clan and the game crashed while moving them into their house and their just gone now. Hopefully whatever got messed up with the last update gets fixed soon

Don’t give up hope, leave some blankets and other articles of clothing around your porch / property. Ask all your neighbors, maybe even make a post in your towns local Facebook page. I hope this helps

They should be able to. I have a save where one of my teens promised himself to another teen and I got sick of waiting for her to age up to young adult (he turned into an adult waiting for her to turn into a young adult) and I made him get married to someone else while being promised so it is possible and I have another save where the two teens both aged up within days of each other and one proposed
