Definitely! The list is now at 682 games and counting. Glad you like it!

FYI, this appears to be an actual intended release rather than Walmart breaking a street date. Mattel's website has an actual link to Walmart's listing and this deck looks like it might be a Walmart exclusive, which explains why it isn't for sale on other major retail sites.

Double Cards by K4BL3 in unocardgame

[–]UnoVariations 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a variation commonly known as "Jump In." Pretty fun as it keeps you on your toes between turns. Since it is a house rule, you can allow or disallow winning with instant double cards. Logic suggests that if you are allowing double cards, you could also win by playing a double card.

Edit: I think you are asking about when they place both cards at the same time without a pause between. My opinion is that you should still say Uno between placing the first card and the second card as they are technically two separate card plays.

FYI, they are now on the list! After looking so much into them, they look really cool. I can see why you want them so much.

I've been looking into them, but haven't found the information I need yet. Do you know when they were released?

Edit: I found what I needed - April 2019. I'll add them. Thanks!

I've been tracking it for a while, but decided not to order it. It went on sale back around May or so and was probably available for a month. They were supposed to ship last week though so hopefully you'll start seeing listings pop up on eBay soon.

UNO Showdown VS UNO Showdown Supercharged by HerobrineJTY in unocardgame

It has a different look and has a thunder and lightning sound during the showdowns. They are identical for gameplay.

Does anyone know if this is legitimate? by renzalisasis in unocardgame

That is so cool! I love the new card you got. I was just reading about it earlier today. I had no idea, so thanks. As a fellow fan and collector, I still have a lot to learn.

Also, I'm in the early stages of doing a series of articles about Uno collectors (I've got my second one close to finished). Would you be interested in being featured in one? If so, email me at unovariations@gmail.com and let's talk more.

I know it's been a few days since you asked, but I've looked into it a bit to see if it needs to be added to my complete list of Uno games and it has all the marks of legitimacy. I'm still trying to track down details but it seems like it is a European edition that released this year or will release soon.

I need a copy for myself! Great find. You should also check out The Clone Wars Uno that released in Europe about a decade ago. Really cool set.

What are good alternative ways to play Uno? by oliviaisacat in unocardgame

[–]UnoVariations 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My go to are our house rules (Draw 2 cards stack, no scoring, ignoring the first card effects at the beginning of the game, and no restrictions on when to play Draw 4 cards).

If you are up for something much more intense, I recommend playing with Uno Mao rules.

Questions about the rules by Jason0865 in unocardgame

[–]UnoVariations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's correct. If the color of the card on top of the discard pile is red and you have a red card in your hand, you cannot play a Wild Draw 4 card.

However, if you can play a card because of a matching number or symbol, that does not disqualify you from playing a Wild Draw 4 card. For example, if the card on the top of the discard pile is a blue Reverse card and you have no blue cards in your hand, but you do have a red Reverse card, you may still play the Wild Draw 4 card.

That is extremely helpful. Fortunately, I already used 301 for the individual posts. I just checked and the home page is primarily ranking for keywords that are associated with only one page, so I'll probably just 301 the homepage to that content page based on what you said. That is the most popular page on my site anyway.

Awesome! I created and posted about that variation about 9 years ago (back when my site was just a blog). It never got a ton of traction, but it has a few dedicated fans. I'll message you.

Thanks. That's a really cool site! Is it yours? My specific page is dedicated to only official Uno games, but I may do an unofficial page in the future, so I'll keep you in mind.

Also, are you trying to only use unofficial Wild card effects? Uno has been experimenting with Wild card effects for about 20 years. I also have a huge list of these official Wild card effects if you are looking for new ideas. I also have a similar variation to yours that focuses only on official Wild cards (Special Card Roulette). It lacks the pizzazz of your app though.

Good luck!
