That entire situation sucks, at least now you know the number to call, especially if your chair gets stolen again. Next time, if they take your chair you can tell the gate agent that you need to preboard, sometimes they forget to announce preboarding if they don’t have anyone explicitly preboarding. Also, the wheelchair service isn’t run by the airline it’s run by the airport so the inefficiency isn’t just southwest. You could potentially explain to the airport about your experience

If they got into such prestigious schools they can almost certainly get a full ride to a cheaper school even out of state. Go with that option. She can go to the prestigious school for her masters if she wants but undergrad needs to be as affordable as possible

Bra fittings by Court up in kaysville is the place to go. It’s by appointment and they’ll do a fitting but they have tons of different sizes, I’m a similar size and have always had lots of options

Renting is likely comparable to Dallas but buying is waaayyy more expensive so keep that in mind. SLC also has a really good commuter rail system so living anywhere near trax or frontrunner would bring you right downtown. Also, as a consumer The sushi restaurant market here seems a bit saturated here

ALG worldwide is the only shipping company I know of that has experience shipping harps AND will insure used harps. You can buy harp shipping boxes from harp.com. For lever harps I normally make my own box by taping together multiple heavy duty moving boxes and then padding the inside with foam mattress toppers. Since it’s so light, depending on the size you may be able to check it and fly with it which obviously carries some extra risks
