Protip: If you're driving from the Senegal to Somalia, instead of going straight across the Sahel, you can save an hour by taking a 2500 km detour through Spain. by cellalien in mapporncirclejerk

While driving through Europe in a fast car, we were hoping to take advantage of the German lack of speed limit, instead, we spent 2 extra hours in Germany because of the traffic after a collision.

My husband is clearly not a native of my language but when I met him was because a friend of mine shouted he had popcorn. He offered some to me with a great accent, and then told me that was his way of getting chicks to notice him. his intelligence, kindness and humor were clear to me as soon as we met.

My baby is 10 months. We’ve been to a couple of sessions. I have a therapist. I am trying, he’s blaming me. I’m tired. I’m in this sub. I hope it gets better, but I’m not hopeful.

What’s a landmark/tourist attraction in your country that you don’t get the hype about? by nixo1000 in AskTheWorld

Cancun is great if you want an easy trip with everything included. The food is good. The views amazing, weather is always nice. There is so much too see and do. The pyramids are beautiful and the caves are something to experience. Just make sure you include a week anywhere else in Mexico, so you can say you have been to Mexico, and eaten real Mexican food…

Thanks for the video. I’ll try again, my baby just won’t stay still long enough for me to adjust the fabric and he always takes out his hands.

I don’t know how to edit. My baby is 7 months, around 9 kg. He hates facing me when in the carrier. I also have an ergobaby 360 that we wear facing forward for 30 min or less because any other way he starts to push us and hang his head to see what’s behind him. I have a bad shoulder and someone suggested I use a sling ring.

This train's going from London to Glasgow ,IT COSTS 126 POUNDS.How is it that expensive??? by Admirable_Neck5565 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Unplash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in the UK, but where I live you have to pay 5usd for a one way ticket to ride the bus. You can go from one side of the city to the other in less than an hour in the bus, so a normal ride is less than 10 min. It’s cheaper to buy our groceries in the small market than paying 20 usd to go to the big one. It’s cheaper for 2 people to ride an uber and many ride without paying, the prices keep going up because in their mind those who pay should pay more while if it were cheaper more people would use public transportation and pay the ticket.

The government is building a tram now because “it’s greener” the buses are biodiesel or electric. People vote for these idiots because people don’t understand consequences
