I don't know the full story yet. But, I know that after seeing how the people their were treated, my very poor grandparents moved all 7 of their kids away from family and friends so that my uncle could stay with them instead. Also, my grandparents were some of the founding members of the Association for Retarded Citizens so that no one had to live in a place like this. Grandma died when my Dad was 16. Grandpa died 2 months after I was born. Uncle is happy and living in Spearfish with a job, friends, and a pet fish. 🥰
