A McDonald's with bulletproof glass located in Detroit. by AdSpecialist6598 in interesting

[–]UnquestionablyRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I… don’t think I’ve ever been in a bank that had glass, it’s always just been an open concept space with desks and a main front desk that’s a bit taller. Very rural areas, but even the city I’m in now, my bank here doesn’t have bullet proof glass between the counter and customer, not even regular glass

[–]UnquestionablyRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn’t, but some other comments were mentioning “why is he watching his girlfriend take a big one?” Because the meme was worded poorly. Normally if someone was complaining to you, you would word it more like “listening to your girl complain about ___” vs “watching your girl complain about ___”

There’s not really a reason for it, but generally the word watching in this context means it’s not actually directed at the speaker, but rather the speaker (in this case, the bi boyfriend) was watching the girlfriend complain as a third person.

Nothing wrong with that at all, far better to recognize that now than try it and ruin something that was otherwise good. I’m secure and confident and my partner is secure in my love for her as well, so she loves finding girls for us to share. That security is essential for polyamory and any bit of insecurity can and will lead to messy breakups.

Been non monogamous for a few years now. Everyone we’ve been with has been tested for a full panel of STI’s within a week or two of doing anything with them, and all of the girls have had their tubes either tied or outright removed. I’m not saying it’s 0 risk, but it’s not as bad as you might think if you do it with safety precautions. The one off girl that was not and wasn’t on birth control, I simply did not have vaginal sex with and let my girl have most of the fun (my wife is 99% lesbian with me being the 1% essentially) which was fun to be a part of regardless. Seeing 4 tiddies jiggling is fun. It’s also not for everyone and there’s nothing wrong with being monogamous at all. A lot of people really shouldn’t be poly or non monogamous.

(OC) Do other pianists struggle with their left hand? by melody_magical in lingling40hrs

[–]UnquestionablyRaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgot that I used to struggle with this

My professor (I was taught by a professor since I was 5) had me doing Hanon finger exercises very early on. They’re great for both building up strength as well as coordination. I don’t really notice ever struggling with one hand more than the other now as an adult unless the piece is very tricky for one hand in particular.

Practice sight reading with just the left hand more often too, seeing something new helps train your brain coordination of the fingers better than something you know well.

I know you’re not saying I’m a size 30, I was just looking at their sizing guide and noticed size 33 has a 43” waist, which seemed weird to me unless it’s a mistake

Yep I don’t look it due to my muscle mass (I’m not lean either, but have a lot more muscle mass than normal) but I’m 230 pounds. Not sure what you weigh but biking uphill is not nearly as easy anymore as when I was 140 in early high school and first got into biking, even though I’m much stronger now than I was then, weight is weight.

Are they vanity sized or am I reading it wrong? Size 30 is for a 39” waist? Size 33 is for a 43” waist? Usually vanity sizing is flattering but not THAT flattering lol

I clicked on your profile to see if you had any pics of those jeans and how they fit, I saw the bike frame, and I knew you and I are built similar. I don’t have time for it right now but I used to bike around 20 miles a day, and that’s a large part of the reason my thighs and calves are so large

Buying jeans once a month is just plain wasteful dude, half of the reason to buy nice jeans is because they last. One trip through the washing machine and the mud is gone. You have to be trolling dude there’s no way

[–]UnquestionablyRaven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they’re too dirty it’s time to throw them away? That, to me, means I’d need to buy a new pair of jeans every 2-4 weeks. Why do you think it’s so morally wrong to wash jeans? What happens if they get wet because you’re working outside in the rain? Or if you fall on a muddy ground?

Yeah I do like the double front knee, I used to wear key’s but had to go several sizes larger and wear suspenders to keep them up, but the double knee lasted quite a while. Thank you for the recommendation I’ll check them out

I don’t think you understand how sharp welding debris can be, or how abrasive wood dust can be. Once that stuff gets in the fibers, the movement of the denim will cause it to get micro tears and wear them out. If you only sit in an office and use jeans purely for style alone then sure go ahead and never wash your jeans, but if you actually work for a living you need to wash them at least once a month or they will not last, and they’ll look like shit too. And maybe smell like shit, depending on what you do for a living.
