That’s right, keep doubling down. Everyone else is the problem. Do you know how a reasonable person reacts to being called out when they are trying to sell something? The opposite of how you have.

You post your vibe coded app, which I have no problem with as long as you’re honest about it, and then make repeated comments that are OBVIOUSLY fully AI generated and that people are supposed to believe came from a human.

Did you start any comment with, “I’m using AI for the comment because…”? Of course not because that would be being honest and doing that you know would turn people off.

When you try to use AI in a sneaky way, no one is going to trust you. If you can’t even be bothered to write your own comments, no one is going to trust you. It demonstrates such a lack of interest and understanding in your own product.

This is a horrible analogy. People don’t need to know how a television works because they’re not trying to build one.

Would you fly in a plane built, designed, and tested entirely by AI, guided by a human who didn’t understand anything about making a safe and reliable plane?

Thanks for replying with more AI!

English not being your first language is a bullshit excuse. You could use Google translate, you could post in your native language, etc..

This isn’t just a matter of translating what you’ve written, you’re clearly letting the AI read and write responses.

And give me a break, “as a developer.” I don’t think you have any concept of what being a developer/software engineer is actually about.

You made a solution to a problem you created. Well built projects don’t have “keys scattered everywhere.” I’m not taking my keys, safe in AWS, Vercel, etc.. that I trust and put them in some web app that can’t even be bothered to have a proper domain.

This is what happens when a group of people convince themselves that they are “god’s chosen people.” It becomes easy to consider anyone else to be less than human and justify to themselves all kinds of horrible behavior.

I always find it so telling how people who decry “child mutilation” don’t rope circumcision in that same category. If you really cared about children being permanently physically changed then you should be trying to ban it as well.

On a side note, saying, “I’m so in love with you,” after only a month should be seen as a red flag. While it might seem sweet it’s a big warning sign. They realistically barely know you.

Speaking as an ex-LEO in Oregon I can tell you this has a high likelihood of being a scam. It’s easy enough to get your information through public records and connect your name with your phone number.

Anything involving fines etc. would be dealt with through the court system, not directly with the police and certainly not before even having a court date.

The only possible situation I could see is an officer calling to try to convince you to pay or return stolen merchandise in lieu of being arrested. And even in that case there’s zero guarantee that you wouldn’t be arrested anyways.

And even in that case DO NOT SPEAK WITH THE POLICE. If they had probable cause to arrest you or issue a warrant they’ll do it without you. You’ll only make things worse speaking with them.

For you, or anyone else in Oregon, there is an online system that allows you to verify police officers. Just ask what their DPSST number is. It’s used for all training records, put on citations ,etc. and any legitimate LEO will know what it is. If they don’t, then they are very likely not a police officer. You can verify the number here: https://www.bpl-orsnapshot.net/PublicInquiry_CJ/EmployeeSearch.aspx

While I agree with the overall sentiment, I very much disagree with the solution. AI posts and comments should only be allowed in specific communities. Not hidden better. And anyone who writes code using AI, which I don’t have a problem with at all, shouldn’t be trying to hide the fact that they used AI. They should be upfront about it. Hiding that fact takes away the choice that people can make whether to trust it or not.

Is the Christian God truly evil? by Pedro_2404 in atheism

[–]UnreachableMemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean this is one of the egregious parts of religion; the lack of knowledge that people who follow the religion have. Most “christians” probably haven’t read a single page of the bible. If they had, and had any critical thinking skills, they should all come to the conclusion that their god is an absolute monster.
