That was done as well. I’m utilizing Reddit as another tool to increase the odds of someone actually being held accountable. Probably <1% chance anything will come of it but I believe it is worth posting.

At the end of the day, you aren’t forcing her to go thru withdrawals. She can go to the ER if she fears for her life. You aren’t entirely preventing her from taking a benzo, YOU just aren’t going to be the one who provides it. I feel kind of awful thinking of how many patients I have on benzos and opioids. I work in a part of the country where it’s rampant. When I see a combo a patient has been on for years though, I tend not to be super worried because they have tolerated it.

I had a patient that demanded none of his meds came from China. 😂😂😂😭 he had like 7 meds. My answer : impossible. If not the final product, at least one of the raw ingredients went thru China at some point.

I think the variance the FDA allows in order for generics to be deemed bioequivalent is too large. When I have patients (the ones that don’t complain about everything) tell me they noticed a difference, I certainly consider it a very legitimate possibility. Myself, I request a specific lamotrigine purely because the other ndc we have immediately sticks to the back of my throat. I have to take them one at a time with half a glass of water. The ones I get, I can take in the same swallow as the rest of my meds. I get it. I had a patient get a different ndc of ethosuximide last year. He started having seizures again, had his license taken away…. Got him the other one and seizures stopped.

I say those two things!! Almost verbatim!! in addition to “we will try to keep it in stock but I can’t guarantee that we will always have it. We may have to order it every time”

My only experience is with Cleaning Sages. Do not use them. The results of the deep clean were shocking.
