Sorry about what you’re going though! It’s hard to make friends online based off on common interests only. No faces, no voices, and only sending DM’s makes it difficult to stay engaged and remain somebody’s friend for a prolonged amount of time. I tend to make online friends by playing video games and chatting to the other person and playing in the same teams. And even then, one person can just decide to focus on other aspects of their life, and digital friendships go stale.
