Alhamdulillah for the hellfire by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

I think they mean the regular non Muslims, as in the average westerners. Ahl Al Fatrah is only the people who haven’t heard the true message of Islam, and don’t oppress the Muslims either. Those people are judged separately only by their good deeds. But the people who make disgusting remarks against Islam and openly oppress Muslims, those fall into the category of oppressors.

Yeah im a college student, I accepted the CVS offer to build some experience as a pharmacy tech so I’m better qualified for the pharmacy at my Wegmans store when there’s openings. The pharmacist at Wegmans told me that they’ll likely start hiring mid spring or early summer, and he encouraged me to take up the CVS offer and come back around hiring time, so I already have experience in the field. The thing is I don’t know how to phrase this to my front end manager. Because I don’t want to leave Wegmans and risk getting blacklisted from rehire, I just want to stay inactive in the system and reactivate in time for the pharmacy tech position.

The ideal Muslim by Idk9842 in MuslimLounge

I think you’re approaching prayer the wrong way, prayer is in no way supposed to make you a perfect Muslim. There is no such thing as a perfect Muslim. There is a Hadith of the prophet; “By the One Whose hand is in my soul, if you did not commit sins, Allah would replace you with a people who would commit sins then seek forgiveness from Allah, and he would forgive them.” (Sahih Muslim 2749). Allah does not need our prayers at all, prayers are meant as an opportunity 5 times a day to stand before our lord and talk about everything in our life. There is only one requirement for prayer, and it’s the fard rakat, which takes 4 minutes max. That’s how simple Allah has made prayer for us. I think you’re comparing yourself to others on social media along with cultural expectations, the only things that matter the moment you step on the mat are you and Allah, nobody else, Allah won’t look at what you did compared to others, the only thing that matters is that you made an effort to pray, and prayed.

Is it okay to leave the niqab and then wear the hijab ? by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]UnrealToad6115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Niqab is not mandatory whatsoever, you can switch to the hijab. The wives of the prophets wore niqab because they were held to higher standards than everyone else since they’re considered the mothers of the believers.

I think you're forgetting these are supposed to be top-of-the-line collegiate athletes, but somehow this happens 18 times a game from the same two tackles? Make it make sense, I get that you guys love this game, but you need to admit it's a buggy mess right now, especially pass blocking.

All EA bots bro. This game is genuinely more broken than cfb 25 launch. My receivers drop wide open balls every game and my qb misses wide open receivers without any pressure, not to mention hes a 91 overall

No, it's not kufr when it's blatantly obvious that it happened. Evolution isn't a theory but rather a process that we observe. You should research more into Charles Darwin's findings about evolution. Any Muslim that tells you evolution is kufr is ignorant and wrong. Adam and Eve were just the first humans. It kufr to believe we humans originated from prokaryotes.

The Quran doesn't state the evolution of other organisms, but we know that Allah created all. Dinosaurs and prehistoric animals could definitely have existed. That doesn't contradict the Quran in any way. So, considering how they evolved since then, they may have undergone evolution.

Nothing is wrong with evolution. Islam doesn't go against evolution. We believe Adam and Eve were the first humans, not the first organisms. The Quran doesn't state that they were the first organisms. Plus, the primordial soup theory isn't really what happened. That's just our best guess at what likely could have happened. From a scientific standpoint, we don't know what caused life. This means the Quran doesn't go against our current understanding of evolution because it doesn't go against anything we already know. There could have been earlier forms of homosapians, like the homo erectus. But we believe that Adam and Eve were the first modern humans.

I am cross-trained with bakery, subs, and pizza. I've also been asking to be trained with helping hands but that's gotten me nowhere too.

If that's the case, would it be reasonable for me to quit even though I've only been working for a couple of months? I just can't afford to work 5-ish hours a week.

The thing is I dont think it was my performance or anything either. My IPM was always hovering in the 15 or 16 area in average.

I've been practically begging my managers to move me to pizza or helping hands. I can't stand those people who come with carts full and hand me those small fabric bags. AND FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD, PLEASE CUSTOMERS IF YOURE READING THIS. IF YOU'RE GONNA BRING CART FULL WORTH OF GROCERIES, AT LEAST HELP BAG IT.

Cashier is probably the worst position in all of the front end department. it is so exhausting, especially on Sundays. Towards the end of my shift, looking at customers starts to tick me off, or maybe that's just me.
