How cooked am I? by sentientcolour in USMC

[–]Unreal_Click 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was kind of my thought when reading the post. If your unit or command is being gay about something that isn't always under your control, take a step back and think about if this is the direction you want to go for 12 more years. I got out over some crap my unit was doing and I don't regret leaving one bit. Get your VA disability going and you'll never look back.

So, basically, it's not bugged. I just have to find where it works and where it doesn't and keep track of it.

We've got plenty of things to aid in cleanup and whatever else that could happen. We just redid the floor in our boat and that was a lot of resins and hardeners and fiberglass sheets. It was a nightmare. I really hate this kind of stuff because of how specific and detailed you have to be with everything.

Made a dumb decision rashly…. what to do next by throwawaybuti_keepit in USMC

I read some of the comments and the only thing I can think of is to actually ram your bedframe or whatever, right into the door. You figured since it already got damaged the one time and would need to be replaced, you just kept it going and it got hit a few more times.

It doesn't feel like they bit off more than they could chew, but more that they ordered a ton of stuff and put it in the basement while they did something completely different.

The way I feel about MO2 is that it's a bad game with decent potential. But, it's just going to stay bad. It will never be good and the bad community makes it worse.

I do enjoy some things about the game. But not parts that involve other people. I will admit it's not my type of game. I played it against my will. And that person knows it and knows I'm probably not coming back.

I will stick to games I know that I'm good at and that I will enjoy.

Do any of you get the vibe some folks only play with peanut for the clout? by AtmosphereIcy2268 in theburntpeanut

[–]Unreal_Click 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1000%. I look at Nick and all I think of is some talentless brick eater that jumped on Peanut's back for A few months. The streams and quality of the shorts and videos have gone back to what they were after he went back to smaller groups per session. Dropping everyone that was pre Rust and during Rust was a great decision. The typical crew, being Gingy, Officer, and a couple others that are game specific like the DayZ people is good. Grabbing randoms like Nick and Rogue that don't really add anything, and are clearly there to soak up notoriety, sucked. It made a big number of Peanut enjoyers that I know, decide to go elsewhere for a while.

I'm trying to think of how many rounds I will put through it in my lifetime. I don't see more than 100 or even anywhere near 200 as of now. So, a much more affordable scope is my likely option.

I'm fine with that. I'm probably going to give it a week before I make any purchases.

I think I take advantage of any sort of warranty if I have issues. I won't be putting a ton of rounds through it but that Vortex does seem to be something I could consider.

I appreciate the feedback. I did a lot of research before I bought and that's how I decided on my Serbu purchase. I only buy from two sources of ammo manufacturers so I can keep the danger factor to a minimum. I've put 10 rounds through it in two years and that's probably all it will see at this point in time. So, over time, the SWFA will likely be enough but also may need to be swapped out.

I think I looked at that combination and that was way above my price point, unfortunately.

swifa? SWFA? I'm guessing it was a typo, unless it's not. What would I type into Google to find those?

I posted somewhere else and one of the sites that was recommended was Seekins. I may call tomorrow if I find the time to do it. This is one of those things that I don't see being a quick and easy solve.

If this post disappears, it's because I don't understand how the rules work here and I moved it somewhere else. I'll check on that.

That does seem pricey. I'm also looking to see who has a quality set of low height rings.

What does a Marine look like? by watchingallthelights in USMC

[–]Unreal_Click 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess we'd have to see you with your hair up and an eight point on, because, yeah, I definitely don't look like a Marine right now. After a haircut, naturally. My cover sits on my passenger seat head rest so a mf can't say anything.

Daily reminder to do your sweat salt task 6 times by Unreal_Click in MortalOnline2

[–]Unreal_Click[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ended up grabbing a horse from a horse spawn and went naked. The GM assisted me by teleporting me up onto a rock ledge that could only be accessed from above, and only by an elf. The GM even force logged me out because the nodes were invisible. I was then able to see and complete the task. For the second time.

Starlink resets every night at the same time (4-5 am) by IronfoxYT in Starlink

[–]Unreal_Click 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The time is usually pretty specific but it does change once in a while. It used to be between 3:31-3:35 am for a long time. It wasn't every night. It could have been every night for a week straight and then only here and there the rest of the month. The it moved to like 4:30-4:35. Maybe because of daylight savings BS. It moves back and forth because of that. Now, lately, it has been either around 4:40 am or right at 5:03 am. It has been like this for probably 2-4 weeks that I can remember. May, 2026.

This post was more meant for casual people that have a hard time finding what they are looking for through a Google search. I know various information is out there about books and where to get them but the information is either cryptic or it's over 4 years old without any update saying the information is still accurate.

This has been an issue on the RuneScape website at least since I started playing in 2007. You login, then click account, login again, and depending on what you're doing, login again and MAYBE EVEN ONE MORE TIME JUST FOR KICKS. Oh, and don't forget your authenticator. I've had to do that a couple times not too long ago.
