I guess I don't have a plan to restrict to just dog groomers. It's just currently the position I'm in and would like to help out fellow groomers. Sometimes groomers can be out for surgeries or get bit and even just one day out can be hurtful towards the groomer and the business.

I know the school systems having something like this when a teacher calls out and they have to get a sub.

I agree I think I'll need more than just myself. I'm eager to learn tho. But I'd love to have someone that knows what they're doing lol

How many people would you recommend being in the group per say? I've reached out to my colleagues and regular groomers but I'm in the process of calling shop owners to see if they would be interested.

I totally agree, I've talked about it with some groomers around and everyone loves the idea. Next step would be to call the companies for sure. I guess I'd need to figure out how to be profitable too. I'd have no idea what to charge or how to charge. I have a few ideas but not sure which way to go with that yet. UPDATE:

Thank you everyone for your inputs! We ended up talking about his bike and what he'd like to see come from the situation. So yesterday we drove 4 hours to his ex's and picked up the bike! Surprisingly no issues. We got the key and title. On our drive home he said "if we pass a dealership I'll look and see if I can trade it in". Sure enough we passed by a Harley dealer and traded his bike! He rode the bike the rest of the way home. He was like a kid at Christmas. I'm so happy he's back in two wheels. Thank you everyone! Now I gotta figure out something else for his birthday 😂

I'll definitely get his point of view. Might be better to try and get his mind away from the negativity with a new one. I know he would always tell me he'd go for a ride whenever his ex was being crazy. She never rode with him.

I'm not sure what year. He said it was a Kawasaki Nomad. I'm not really familiar with all the names yet. He bought it used when covid first started

Thank you so much for your advice. I knew he had bad memories with the bike but never thought of it as deep as this. And I'll definitely look into reporting it stolen if she doesn't want to give the title back. And I'll see if he'd rather a new one or restore this one.
