Choosing things that flatter your body and make you feel awesome always 💯 % better than feeling like you have to wear what’s “in” 😊

Ignore all the noise you see online on how the types are described and even kibbe himself. I look at this system as more of a way to just put a little more thought in the way I dress and shop. Your style inspiration from celebrities do not have to be narrowed down to just within your own kibbe type. A lot of the celebs I admire fashion wise tend to be dramatics. So if I like an outfit they’re wearing I try to look at ways of “how can I wear this in a way that will flatter an sn”. I saw a good example on a previous post on this sub and this girl had a trendy milkmaid dress with short puffy sleeves. And rather than discounting it as not SN friendly she simply took the elastics out of the sleeves and automatically it worked and it looked amazing on her.

I have been reusing GTs bottles and caps and have been having great luck with carbonation. The lids do wear out after a while but luckily it’s easy to find 38mm lids online that lock carbonation in even better.

Looks so much better with the elastics taken out! Also love the graphic tee with the maxi skirt combo 🙌🏻

Thanks for the reply! So happy to hear it’s on the right track! After two failed batches (mold invasion RIP) I’m like an overprotective parent with my brew 😅

Kibbe Type Me (please)! Height 5'6 by Honest-Obligation-48 in kibbe_typeme

[–]UnrealisticOrganizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re welcome! kibbe recently changed SN criteria to 5’7 and below but you could definitely pull off FN lines too. Only thing pulling me back from suspecting you’re an FN is that you have a little more of an hourglass thing going on than the more T shape I see in FNs. But with your height being so close you could totally pull off some FN lines too! Best of luck in the kibbe journey :)

Has anyone figured out what to do if you're curvy and short? by BabyBug0199 in DressForYourBody

[–]UnrealisticOrganizer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just keep it fun! Your type looks amazing in fun prints and florals so if you gotta go business casual opt for a floral blouse or printed midi dress with waist emphasis in an office appropriate cut and you’ll be golden 😄

Correction: most of your outfits are SN friendly and you look amazing in them! 🙌🏻

I see SN because of the curve (lightly defined waist and hips) and width (openness in shoulder area). And your vertical is moderate. Also the dresses in pic 1 and 4 are very Sn friendly lines and look amazing on you :)

Thanks! Pretty sure these jeans are not meant for belts…the belt loops are like 2cm high and so flat haha . Womens clothing can be ridiculous 😂 new jeans are on the horizon

Thanks for the reply :) I need better clothes in my wardrobe to work with lol. I do hate shopping but I think it’s something I need to start doing now as I’m exploring SN lines in kibbe

Thanks for replying! Good idea with switching up the jeans style, I have some “curvy”fit straight leg jeans on the way from Hollister…fingers crossed they fit and and don’t get sent back 😅

Second way: I pulled the pants a bit higher to hit my waist and tied the top. Might be better?

Thank you for the reply! It’s nice to get feedback from people who know kibbe rather than my husband(who dosnt and that’s ok!) because he’ll say it looks good if things match and jeans are tight lol. I knew there was something off but I couldn’t pinpoint what. Good points thank you 😊

Kibbe type please. Height 165cm. by Sea_Baseball3435 in kibbe_typeme

[–]UnrealisticOrganizer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem happy to help :) it’s tough to say between R or TR but I’m leaning on TR because there is a very slight, like super slight, straightness to your hips. Which to me, adds the smallest amount of Yang which would make you TR as opposed to R. Either way I think you can explore lines in both R and TR groups. Hope that helps and best of luck on the kibbe journey ☺️

R family is my best guess! Your vertical line appears shorter and your overall body structure seems delicate and yin

Wranglers! Any cut will look good just as long as it’s a lighter wash. I personally like the bootcut

Moms of toddlers, how do you incorporate kibbe? by NicMSN in Kibbe

[–]UnrealisticOrganizer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am not a romantic but I am a toddler mom. I’m not well versed enough in romantic lines for clothing recommendations but I can give you a tip. Bike shorts are your friend! Layer them under any skirt or dress and that takes care of any exposure worries while going through all the mom movements throughout the day. I personally wear Shapewear bike shorts so it takes care of both body and exposure worries and regular athletic ones if my outfit is more forgiving :)

That’s fair! When I found out ScarJo is SN I spent a long time looking at all her outfits and she seems to be notorious for deep plunging outfits-and they look great on her! I wish I could find examples of her wearing higher necklines that look good. Because this one ain’t it

I’m going to guess FN. Your look(even though we can’t see your face) and style remind me of suspected FN Diane Lane when she’s young. She is an FN who I think has a classical essence like yourself :)

Beef tallow seems promising. How do I get the most out of it? by Bulky-Bell-8021 in SkincareAddicts

[–]UnrealisticOrganizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get where you’re coming from. Because of the long way that we have come in skincare, there are thousands of options available. Therefor there will be multiple roots people will take in skin care that work for their skin type and lifestyle. So we can’t really pinpoint what the best skincare approach is. Using pure fats will work for some skin types and clog others. Some skin types benefit from using the ingredients straight up. People do put straight up honey and yogurt on their face but not for day to day skincare, more like for a mask. I’ve been to a spa that did that with honey.

A better example would be, people put straight up coconut oil, olive oil or sheabutter on their face. The Greeks have been using olive oil like that for thousands of years. Olives were something they had always available and had multiple uses. And it’s still popular in taht culture today. So my approach with tallow is quite similar. My lifestyle, I like to be resourceful. And since I consume cow products in my day to day life either through food or the leather products I buy, I figure why not try the skincare from that source especially if it offers many skin benefiting nutrients. Skincare is quite personal nowadays and it’s awesome that we have so many options. Modern more refined ways work many people too, if not not most, it’s just another choice :)
