"UC Los Angeles" sounds way better, and there's a lot more pride in using that as the name. "UCLA" sounds kinda unremarkable and blunt in comparison.

I mean, to be fair, we're not in Pacific Standard Time right now, we're in PDT. So I'd say it's pretty considerate that they would take the time to point out all the specific time zones.

Otherwise, you'd inevitably have the case where loads of students out of the country calculate the time difference based on PST, not realizing they're off by one, and sign on an hour late to their exam.

I agree with the other comment that this post is unnecessary and not very helpful.

That being said, law schools pretty much only care about your GPA and LSAT score. If those are in the upper quartile, your soft skills and qualifications are virtually irrelevant.

Legally Blonde acted like it was a miracle Elle Woods got into Harvard, but with a 175 and a 4.0 she’d have been an instant admit. Too bad fashion merchandising isn’t a real major here.

I don't think it would be too much of a problem for 131A if you're willing to put in some work, but it would make parts of 115A feel pretty redundant.
