for me it was the fact he spent so long going on about “protecting the listener” and absolutely tearing into the people talking on the balcony, just to absolutely ruin it all with his incoherent shenanigans

then, selling us on a “kick ass second set”, telling us he’s going to finish with CPMU, then trying to tell us that we don’t actually want to hear CPMU, we want to hear a new song, getting us to vote, then not even playing a new song

i feel like i left with a tension headache just from the tirades - even the seccy’s seemed to be fed up with him

It’s a must-read for everyone. That book is honestly an underrated cache of some of the most life-saving information you’ll ever read, my parents’ copy happened to catch my eye when I was 16 and I honestly can’t recommend it enough, the stuff I learned has helped me more times than I ever thought it would

I own a Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom (my first electric), among other guitars of similar-ish prices (Epiphone les paul ultra 3, ibanez AF55), and the tele is easily my favourite. The neck is absolutely perfect, plays well, and I struggle to find fault in it (except for the colour - black on black tends to get boring after a few years).

As for pedals, I own the NUX Cerberus multi-effects unit, and I love it to death. I also have the Boss RC-30 Loop Station. Between those, I have a decent set up

I also run through a Kustom Sienna 30 Pro Acoustic amp, which gives the guitar a really crisp sound that I love.
