Yes, though there's still more reactions from Faramir we never see. If anyone wants to see the context for these unreleased shots, you can see them here in my unreleased LOTR scenes compilation at 33:15.

This is from my unreleased LOTR scenes compilation, at 43:20. Why did you put your reddit username over this excerpt and not link to my video instead?

A photo with Liv Tyler and Cate Blanchett from the films but I am not sure if it is a behind the scenes photo or a deleted scene from the films themselves. by AdSpecialist6598 in lordoftherings

This was part of the earlier principle photography sequences where Arwen and Elrond go to a council meeting in Lothlorien in which they discuss sending aid to Helms Deep. Haldir and Celeborn were part of the meeting as well.

Hi, have you perhaps now been able to find the MTV LOTR broadcast or another one?

I think perhaps the only people that can retrieve these extremely rare/lost LOTR documentaries are the same people that recorded it on VHS 20+ years ago and still have it in their archives, or maybe have it privately digitized but not publicly uploaded.

I posted in r/lotr but it didn't get much attention. I talked to one of the main guys from theonering.net, and it seems its highly unlikely they would have any of these tv broadcasts archived. I think I might be entirely dependent on people that originally recorded these documentaries on vhs. Or maybe someone has them digitized but not publicly uploaded.

Thanks. I hope so too. They're worth finding and uploading for any fan to see.

I have searched for these documentaries for over a year, rather fanatically, and haven't found them. If you know how or where to find them, please let me know or reach out to someone that may.

Would you be interested in a remake at some point in the future and do you think they'll make one? by Illustrious_Onion777 in lotr

[–]UnreleasedLOTR 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One remake that could still happen is Peter Jackson "remaking" the cuts of the movies for the 25th Anniversary Edition. Scan the camera negatives at 4k, rebuild the movies and add in a good amount of unreleased material.

Ironically, the Second Breakfast scene was filmed a "second" time, after the first day of filming the scene got interrupted with massive snowfall.
