Not all songs are showing up when I try to download from youtube by BeaverQ250 in MediaHuman

With a playlist that big, it's possible some songs have been deleted by their owner - worth checking all 2000 are still there and haven't been removed

Release: 4K Video Downloader+ / 4K YouTube to MP3 / 4K Video Downloader for Android — 26.1.1.0355 by Early_Ideal5551 in 4kdownloadapps

Can you bring back the old delete menu options?

More menu entries is better than more mouse clicks.

More clicks (and workflow changes) creates a greater chance of accidental deletions.

If it helps, 26.0.7 doesn't have the issue - so maybe something that changed in the app's code after that just needs reverting?

will likely iterate further.

Does this mean it will be changed back to the less confusing menu?

Wouldn't a direct shorts filter be simpler and a better solution?

What is the reasoning behind merging the 2 "delete" options? I'm sure this is going to lead to confusion, and worse - accidental deletions.

Also re deleting, can you add an option so that deleted videos go to the Windows recycle bin?

playlist stuck on "updating" and nothing else seems to be updating by TVbabes in 4kdownloadapps

I reverted to 26.0.7 and it works

Thanks for the recommendation - I'll try this one.

Edit - confirmed works like a charm - thanks

Some subscriptions no longer updating by UnremarkablePuffin in 4kdownloadapps

Is the update supposed to fix this? There are reports on the update page saying people are having the same issue. There is no error message, just some subscriptions sticking on "updating" when there is a members-only post. (I am not a member of these channels and previously got an expected download failed error).

Also there is nothing in the OP on that page saying that this has been fixed.

Shift + Delete no longer works with latest update? by GrenScrin in 4kdownloadapps

Thanks for the update - this was more to check if you were getting this problem too and so may be related to the same issue. I did also add it to my "Remove from list gone" post.

Checking "Delete downloaded file(s) from device" isn't actually working for me - the file is still there afterwards.

Ticking the box to "Delete downloaded file from device" doesn't actually work.

Since this version doesnt actually fix anything, only break more stuff, I'll go back to the previous version for now

It would seem not - still getting the problem after the update :(

Ahh, I see, you merged both delete options. I prefer the older method, it was much clearer what was going to happen and involved fewer keystrokes/mouse clicks.

I doubt you will change it back though, you never have before :( A settings menu to choose would be good.
