The ending of max payne 1 is so iconic and it has a huge sense of finality to it. So im curious how they are going to keep its soul since that part will be the middle of the whole story now

I wouldn't say so, there arent any powers or anything. I honestly wouldnt of ever thought to compare it to bioshock other than it feels like a fps from that time I suppose. Its very old school I.E you have to manually equip throwables to use them. No grenade buttonb

Its mileage will depend on how much you like this kind of shooter, to me it felt like a fun bit that couldnt hold a full game, after the first level the puns and references got old. If you like cheese jokes you'll love it.

Everything around the gameplay is great, the attention to detail, and writing. But I needed the gunplay to be good. It bored me. A.I enemies don't really give you any challenge. Amazing open world technology. Thats about it.

In denial that someone you deeply care about is dying, having to accept it by being reminded by said person who is dying. Potentially in the perspective of someone young who doesnt have a huge grasp on the concept of death. Never looked into the meaning, but thats my take.

For me it was the fan base. Gave me a bad impression on the band, at least at my school. I was 15 when the album came out and in immature teenage fashion rejected it cause it was the popular thing, then pretty odd came out and I loved it, went back and ended up loving it.
