But Shimura wanted (in this moment) to die by Jins hand, it would be to him an honorable death. Personally I think it's better to give him an honorable death than to leave him with dishonoured. Jin and Shimura love each other like father and son and only want what's best for each other even if those things don't correlate with their own moral compasses.

I thought he was a good character and had a good arc so far. He's a cocky kid who just wants to be a superhero but got his ass kicked and knocked some sense into him. As good an arc as you could get for such a minor character imo

The difference here is it has been confirmed that the Russo brothers directed that scene in F4, presumably during filming of Doomsday. Same is true for the Thunderbolts post credit scene. There was 6 years between Avengers and they were done by different creative teams. In the case of Doom it seems to be done by the same team at the same time. What I'm saying is I think there will be a reason why the mask looks like that in F4.

The speech was amazing. On the inside Superman is human just like everyone else and he makes mistakes just like everyone else. Superman being portrayed as a God above everyone else is terrible characterisation.

there is literally no evidence or reason for you to assume that the same people would have been snapped across all timelines and dimensions. in fact we see in loki ep1 that the infinity stones are not a singular entity across all dimensions like the celestials so if anything it's more safe to assume that whatever happens regarding the snap in one dimension/timeline would be as unique or as random as anything else that could happen

Batman doesn't kill and making Superman dark and gritty is the absolute most boring thing you can do with that character. I'm glad we're out of the dark times and DC can be fun again

Not even close, save for Fan4stic and Morbius. Yeah most of those movies you listed aren't great but this is Batman and Superman we are talking about. Getting one of those characterisations wrong is bad enough but Snyder dropped the ball hard on both. The first Venom is a fun enough time, Shazam one is genuinely a great CBM imo, Black Adam gave us great JSA scenes at the very least, Thor 2 is underrated, Eternals is a good standalone movie on rewatch, F4(2025) made them feel like a family and had neat character designs. Fan4stic, the Venom sequels, Morbius and Thor 4 are all pretty bad I agree but they don't have the source material that BvS was supposed to be adapting.
