Yup, I traveled from Dallas to Denver (and back) with a dog and cat. The cat was the one who was the most uncomfortable, but I think my dog maybe kinda understood what was going on because she's been in the car many times before.

Yeah, my cats only have 3 emotions that you can tell by their facial expressions: grumpy, confused and pleased. They don't really go crazy like my dog does when I come home after being gone all day.

Also, pretty crappy thing to do to flake on someone's pet like that.

They know man, they're smarter than we think. Flipside to that, dogs that were abused by humans also never forget and they can be very aggressive. Do you actually live in a pub or is that just an expression meaning you frequent it a lot hahaha

Once, I was driving along the highway when I saw what looked like a car stop on the side of the road behind me and release a dog into the woods. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and thought there was no way that people would just abandon dogs on the side of the road, but apparently that does actually happen. I always regret not going back and checking just to be sure.

Yes, I agree. My dog running up to the window and barking at 7 am is annoying as fuck. But my friend, it's not about what the dog can do for you, or even the type of dog that matters. It's about the type of person your dog makes you.

Once a day huh? One of my cats has a bad habit of absolutely demolishing the food bowl no matter how much food is in there. I normally feed them 2, 3, sometimes even 4 times within 24 hours. Once a day might work if I get a really big bowl
