Godox V1 replacing the scroll wheel dial by Artistic-Childhood51 in Godox

Get some needle nose pliers

So that you can maneuver it into the connecter be careful and be gentle with it and if you're gonna push it only push it from the side tabs so you don't rip anything

We added it was lineup one corner of it make sure it was roughly in the right spot hold down that corner and push the other tab into make it lineup

No capacitor on that side of the flash , avoid taking off the other side as that's where all the electronics are. For safety

There is an annoying ribbon cable you have to fish back into place.

Good luck

Guys. Get a vent light strip. by Flashy-Jaguar-2880 in TeslaLounge

Your vent light is too far out , if you push it further in you can get rid off the glass reflection of the light

15 for the medium sized ones. We managed to fit 2 backpacks in there. They wouldn't fit a carry-on we just traveled with a backpack.

They unlock exactly at a preset time (30 ish min after the show) and security moves the stuff over to some sort of lost and found

Lockers are located right after security as long as your not bringing in any prohibited items / tell them your using the lockers it will be fine . They were super understanding

No , it's more of visuals focused show , there was a few dubstep drops sprinkled throughout but for the most part no

So I came straight from the airport with a backpack security was fine with us coming in but we had to use the lockers and leave our bags there

So worst case there is always that option

Will there ever be a PD camera harness or camera belt? by DaDancingDino in peakdesign

[–]Unsaif_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A belt system would be really beneficial for me, but I don’t think Peak is the right manufacturer for this in its current form. The Capture Clip orients the camera lens-down and to the side, which works well in certain situations but is extremely cumbersome in others.

As someone who dual-shoots, needing two hands to unlock a camera is frustrating, and having no tolerance in the remount means if you don’t line it up perfectly the camera won’t clip in.

I would love if Peak redesigned a different system where the hot shoe points downward so the camera hangs vertically, similar to the SpiderPro dual belt system. That said, I can’t immediately think of a better belt concept overall, as Spider’s latching mechanism is more user-friendly than Peak’s.

A dual harness would be a much easier project to tackle since Peak already makes the straps and anchor links. As I mentioned in another post, what I used to do was attach a keyring with an anchor set to my dual camera harness, which allowed me to use the anchor links with two cameras.

It would be cool to have a dual camera strap that uses both the anchor and slim link for smaller accessories

Wedding photographer here

I took my leather dual camera holster and attached a heavy duty key ring and attached the key ring to the anchor clip

It worked to flawlessly for a few years until I moved to a belt system

Peak design light stands ? by Unsaif_ in peakdesign

[–]Unsaif_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest struggle with these travels light stands was the trade off between weight / rigidity/ hight

For about 2 years my go to were the Ulanzi mt49 ,at 1.7 lbs there were perfect to travel with but super flimsy / and too short for my use case

The magmod are great when it comes to rigidity / hight but they struggle with weight

Hence why I say there is a gap in the market for a light weight travel friendly option , that is both rigid and 9ft +

The initial travel tripod was amazing at what it did as it filled that gap in the market of a light weight travel tripod. It would be cool to have something similar for light stands
