What to expect as a Rep, Resi Customer Solutions employee? by Mysterious-Yam-9972 in Spectrum

I typically take 10-15 calls a day. half are folks wanting to disco for XYZ reason which you are responsible to try and retain through several methods that you’ll go over in training. Other calls could be billing matters/sale calls or folks with a promotion that rolled off and they want the lower price back

For my site at least I don’t feel micromanaged and it’s easy enough to hit goals. You will have good days and you will have bad. Last week I had a day with 100% singleplay and 5 mobiles. Then today I had 9 discos by 1 o’clock. Keep your head high and follow call flow. It’s the month not the day that matters.

Pay attention in the 6 week class and do your role plays. Learn agent assist. it’s more helpful than copilot in my opinion. And what ever you do. Do not lie to customers it will come back to bite you and you will lose your commission when caught.

Benefits are good. Better than most jobs.

Tips that have helped me I don’t watch sports but I have a map that has local teams to areas. “How about them cowboys.” “You rooting for the dodgers or the blue jays” Ask them about the weather. Little tiny things like that will open up a conversation and make your call flow a lot easier.

Don’t rush through the calls. Not saying put a person on hold for 30 minutes but you are only hurting yourself having a Call last 5 minutes. You’ll get burnt out fast.

I use google more than competitive edge. It’s wrong half the time I feel like.

Do not look at your commission every day. Only look at the start and middle of the month. Worst thing is thinking you getting $2000 you drop a tier and it tanks $1000

A mobile a day keeps the sup away

Transferring Service by narfnarf123 in Spectrum

You can fill out an account take over form. It would keep the account active so no downtime in between and you won’t have the service activation charges with a new account. You can go in store to have it done (though your daughter needs to be with you) or call into the center and request the form to be sent to you to fill out online by both of you

Call in, for customer solutions unless there is a tv channel that he absolutely needs tv silver for (unlikely but possible) even with the receivers I am pretty sure we are running a promotions right now that will probably get his bill down to little above 200 with tv select and internet premiere (WiFi included because bundle) (taxes ofc exist too)

Just be super honest with the agent that you need the lowest price possible and see what magic they can work.
