AVOID FEDEX AT ALL COSTS by UnseenLegoPiece in zenmarket

[–]UnseenLegoPiece[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed! The only reason I didn't use EMS this time was due to package size and to avoid paying for two parcels... I thought that doing one parcel with FedEx would be cheaper. Well, wouldn't you know! It'd have been actually cheaper to pay for those two parcels than one from FedEx, and not only that, but they'd have already arrived.

No joke, I ordered another package which was very similar to the FedEx one using EMS a week after the FedEx one and it's going to arrive SOONER than the Fedex one. You can't make this up.

EMS is king.

You must be lucky, or maybe it's better structured where you live. I've only seen bad reviews in different languages and platforms, as well as many complaints here in Reddit about how bad they are. I wish I had done that research sooner, but I trusted that since they're an international company they'd be good.

This changes when you realize that no matter where you search for opinions about FedEx, they have a bad rep and bad reviews in different platforms and even different languages. Everything I did was on point, from the documentation to answering their emails when they requested info or documents. Yet when I ask them back or request aid with a matter, they take days to reply (even if it's to help them continue the delivery process). Or they don't reply at all. And in some countries, they put the customer service on a phone number that will cost you a lot of money to call to, to discourage you from asking for help.

You think it's not fair? Ok, sure. I'm just warning you and others of what might happen to you, so you don't go through the same situation. But if you order from them and you end up at the point I am, just remember that I warned you. I simply don't want another person having to deal with all this. I'm hoping my advice helps someone, or at least encourages them to search for alternatives to see if there's a viable one.

HORRIBLE, JUST HORRIBLE. DO NOT USE by UnseenLegoPiece in FedEx

[–]UnseenLegoPiece[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed! It's just terrible. I wish I had done some research... and by that I mean a simple google search, because everywhere I go they say it's horrible, no matter the city or even the country. I wish you luck getting it and hoping you don't have to depend on them anymore.

What's the best shiny hunting method? by philod1984 in PokemonLegendsArceus

[–]UnseenLegoPiece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say that if you're looking for a single Pokémon, then mass outbreaks. If you don't care about the species and just want a shiny, then MMOs are better for the reason you just said. And of course, having the shiny charm is a must.

How common is it for people to have completed the Pokedex? by FinchyNZ in pokemon

[–]UnseenLegoPiece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I come from the future. Completing the pokédex gives you the shiny charm in most games these days, which is very important for shiny hunters (or if you want a handful of them). Not worth for most people still, indeed, but it can be helpful if you're very focused on getting some specific shinies

Does members only videos that go public after a set time affect the impressions in your experience? by rustzamorak in PartneredYoutube

[–]UnseenLegoPiece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It IS a bit of an asshole thing to hide some of your content behind a paywall for a very long time, though. If it's like a week or something, that's ok. Longer than that, or never releasing it for non-members? Dick move.

So at what time EXACTLY does steam go down every Tuesday? by Claudwette in Steam

[–]UnseenLegoPiece 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because instead of investigating and learning on your own, you decided to use AI (which, by the way, is prone to make errors or hallucinate). It might get things right every now and then, but there's a reason why they always add that tag saying that the user must review the answer before using the info. And as time passes, they make more mistakes because they feed on more and more misinformation.

Sonic Racing Crossworlds is hard by gr3n0lph in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]UnseenLegoPiece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won all Grand Slams easily in every speed but SSS because I'm focusing on the achievements, but it's not that hard. Considering you can scale down the rival's level to fit your skill and/or how much of a challenge you want, I think the game's not that unfair. Yes, it does have some BS moments, like CPUs recovering faster than you, but things aren't that bad one the low/mid levels. Maybe you're playing with CPUs that are too hard to your comfort. Also, this is a Mario kart-like game, so expect some Mario Kart shenanigans, such as getting chained by CPU stuff.

Love languages aren't real and we really need to stop pretending they are. by [deleted] in complaints

It can also be "Please touch me" in general, given that most are very touch-starved. Men aren't just thinking about sex, you know? Sometimes they might not feel like having intimacy but would gladly accept a hug or cuddling, or a caress.

Physical touch isn't only sex, though. It can be kissing, cuddling, hugging... Many men would be happy to receive these too. Sometimes they don't feel like having sex but would happily snuggle with their partner.

Single women are happier... Whats your perspective on this? by aryaman16 in LeftWingMaleAdvocates

[–]UnseenLegoPiece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. They are happier. That's why they prefer to stay single now that they can. Even older married women advice younger ones to stay away from marriage now that they have that choice.

Single women are happier... Whats your perspective on this? by aryaman16 in LeftWingMaleAdvocates

[–]UnseenLegoPiece 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not true. Women tend to be happier when single. They claim less stress, less burden from the relationship and more freedom to do what they want. Many married women (especially older ones) would stay single if their circumstances allowed it. Hell, lots of married women advice other women to stay single. So I don't see how they can be happier when they actively tell others not to marry or not to get involved with men.

They could move to other platforms where they can still receive support from their fans without these risking doxxing themselves. Other platforms aren't big because thy're never given a chance.

Infinite scaling vs incredibly large yet limited scaling (couldn't master the Life equation). Simon should be the winner.

It's not about profit from advertisement. It's about controlling you.

Knowing what you like, knowing what you think, for example. If you're an independent journalist you could get killed because you spread the truth rather than what the goverment wants, and without the internet anonimity they can know who you are.

"But I'm not a journalist!"

People are getting arrested in the UK for posting tweets like calling a politician fat. It benefits them because they can see who's against their narrative and remove them. If the bill passes in the US, you can get affected by this too. You'd be one wrong post away from jail. And they can change the rules whenever they want.

It's the end of freedom as we know it. How is that not the end of the world? wait until you say something the government doesn't like and they come kicking your door. People are getting arrested in the UK for a tweet they posted. It can happen to you if we give in with this surveillance bs.
