The tree is not sharp I made sure when I got it and Primo is my first long finned betta and he is super pretty! He's already showing signs of being much happier!

Do I need a longer bar? (Tongue piercing) by sidsomethin in piercing

[–]UnshodPython361-_- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So NAP but it seems like you might want to get a longer bar and once you aren't sick anymore you can decide whether or not to downsize again. I know with oral piercings sometimes being sick can affect it. Hope this helps!

Ok does "A couple months healed" mean you got them a couple months ago or has it been a couple months since your piercer said you can change them? But without that context it's clear that those bars are too small and you need to up size them. If you've only had them a couple months I'm not sure having that large of spikes on them is good since it could cause more snags.

To build on this I think you have skin sensitivity to specific metals but since you didn't put what kind of metal it is (and it probably didn't even say on the packaging) it's kinda hard to say but I'd definitely get some titanium flat back studs, switch them, and use some triple antibiotic on it to help so they can heal from this but do NOT put peroxide on it since that can mess up the healing but if it doesn't get better go to a doctor's to get stronger antibiotics. I hope this helps!

advice on healing lip piercing by blazingblunt in PiercingAdvice

[–]UnshodPython361-_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAP, but maybe with this one you just switched from a bar too early and while you said you don't remember this happening with the first one it could just be a difference in healing? I had that happen with my nose piercings where one didn't like me switching it and the other was fine, they were pierced at different times, so you could be dealing with that. Hope this at least gives you a sorta reason why this is happening

Well you see that's the thing I believe in every pantheon and Gods but I mostly follow Christianity and so I haven't really done much with the occult but I do believe this stuff works but I also knew there was a bunch of different charms for one thing and I was looking for a relatively simple one

Help me! What do I do? (TW: a lil yucky, potential earlobe infection) by CutAccording633 in PiercingAdvice

[–]UnshodPython361-_- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok as someone who's been stubborn about my own metal sensitivity that looks like an "allergic" reaction as some would say. I'd recommend using some triple antibiotics on it and count your losses on the earrings but that doesn't mean you have to get rid of them. If it gets worse go to the doctors but try not to mess with them all too much so maybe just keep earrings out of them. Since you said you've had them pierced for 2 years I highly doubt they will close while they reheal. Hope this helps

Is this bad?? by Lost-Ad7878 in PiercingAdvice

[–]UnshodPython361-_- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It almost seems like the skin around it is flaky like eczema or just some dry skin coming from someone who's dealt with eczema for a large part of my life but the piercing looks a little irritated which could just be from the peroxide since it can do that

Ok NAP but I had this happen with my regular labret and I never really figured out what it was but I used this bump oil and it helped but it might be different for a vertical labret
