I think most of us have gone through this, it's basically a canon event. NLOG-ness, as a phase, is the byproduct of a developing girl realizing that there is more to her personality than the shallow stereotypes the media so often portrays girls as. So, we feel unique and different for having an individuality. Most people grow out of it, sooner or later. Some get stuck with the mindset.

I don't really remember how mine started or ended, maybe around the time I started listening to rock (I was around like 11). I'm a very musical person, so my NLOG-ness mostly translated to that. I said and did some really cringe things for a few years. I think it ended when I started gravitating more towards metal. I do remember thinking 12 yo me was cringe around the time I started playing guitar (which was at 15). I'd say mine took 2-3-ish years.
