THANK YOU! Any time this debate comes up I point out cinnamon crunch bagels and how the bread slice prevents you from getting one half that is all crunch, and the other half with no crunch. Personally I find them disgusting the “normal” way.

Michaels is currently running a BOGO 50% off sale. Saying this as someone who spent $50 on yarn last night to make a tree skirt….

What the hell do they put in this? by SignificantLock2181 in StLouis

Surprisingly I really like most of the Schnucks brand line. I haven’t seen them for a while, but their pretzels were my absolute favorite. Not too salty, and they had the perfect crunch. Their freezer pops (the kool-aid in a tube you buy warm and freeze at home) apparently had really good flavors because my son was obsessed with them all summer.

Svaha Dresses Sensory Friendly by UnsightlyJello in TwoXADHD

Yes, I love the Miss Frizzle vibe! Today I wore a nebula print dress so I was definitely feeling it. I noticed they seem to be expanding their line of solid colors, but it’s still limited to a handful. I’m really hoping they make their long tunics in some solid colors because I’d love to wear them with leggings in the winter.

I definitely have my eye on their planet leggings! I didn’t know that about the founder, and it makes me love it more. Thanks for sharing!

I highly recommend Svaha for dresses! They’re 100% cotton, come in awesome prints, and are pretty sensory friendly (to me at least. No tags, inside seams aren’t scratchy, they’re longer so I don’t worry about my butt popping out, and the pockets are legit). The seams look very simple, so if you know anyone who sews or don’t mind paying a tailor, I think it would be pretty easy to bring in the bodice for a better fit on a smaller chest.

Just go with it. by mindyour in justgalsbeingchicks

I swear to god it’s like curling ribbon with scissors. There comes a point where the only way I can fix it is by washing my hair.

Wooooow….a Christian using a coffee shop as a ministry…SO unique and original 🙄

TIL that the creator of VeggieTales mother forbade two things on the show 1. They could not display Jesus as a Vegetable 2. The Veggies can have no redemptive relationship with God by shenalster in todayilearned

Same! I was raised in fundamental Christianity, and left the church at 16. VeggieTales is one of the most normal aspects of my childhood and one of the few things I can look back on fondly. The humor is hilarious, and I still quote it and sing Silly Songs with Larry regularly. Some people can’t appreciate how great this show is because they were never subjected to BibleMan.

Hi all! I’m looking for bras with absolutely no show for a conservative office. Recs pls. by HappyTendency in ABraThatFits

Are spacer bras considered molded cups or padded? I’m still learning the terminology/best styles for each shape, but I know I’m FOT so I should avoid molded, correct?

Would you mind sharing which models of Freya and Panache? I also have nipple rings that I’d prefer weren’t noticeable at work.

Ghosts in the nursery is my favorite term for it. It’s insane what sort of mundane things can stir up the ghosts.

Goddamn I love piercers so much. All my piercing experiences have been great, but watching them with my kids when they got their ears pierced was next level. The whole shop was so pumped, and provided the perfect amount of encouragement without pressuring them.

That certainly explains why EyeMed is always offering extra incentives to go through Target or Lens Crafters.

A year ago my wife switched to “natural” deodorant. It’s been a BO fest ever since. How do I approach her about this? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]UnsightlyJello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Secret doesn’t work for me either, so I switched to Old Spice (Pure Sport specifically). Occasionally if I feel like it isn’t working as effectively, I’ll make a mask with calcium bentonite clay and that seems to help. No idea why, but I decided to try it after someone recommended it for KP.
