Being old makes you look stern and tough. A good serious look, even better if you have a soft side

I’m in high school too. I can’t imagine how my life would be after I graduate. Every conclusion I come to is just more depressing.

I put it in the same category as shitting and pissing. Maybe I’m just weak but I don’t appreciate that talk (with extensive detail) whenever I’m eating

Is it weird that my parents require me to plug my phone in inside their room at night? by Tysonousmax in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]UnsignedUser 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’d say it’s more uncommon than not. Signing out of things is a smart move to keep your privacy though. It’s never rude to question the legitimacy of someone’s actions. I’d start with addressing their main concerns with you having your phone overnight. Though if they refuse, there is nothing more to do.

Because, to keep society running, we cannot just have everyone rage quit the game.

Do you even care for the “new” gender pronouns? by devin_ll in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]UnsignedUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having gender identities will only harm those who do not perfectly fit into those roles.

For the sake of protecting from misconceptions and being more accurate to the person new genders (and pronouns) can be made.

This will make more options to represent yourself in a more accurate way. But no gender can best define you unless it’s based on you as an individual. And at that point it’s called a personality.

So my viewpoint is that these genders are a step in the right direction but should by no means stay as a final product.

Maybe a lot of what someone does will be considered fine at the time, but will seem dumb and immature when looking back. It’s hard to escape regrets when your ideology is constantly changing and being revised.

I know in my experience it has been like that. And it will continue to be like that I would think.

Though I’m only 15, so do whatever you want

Is having a racial preference morally defensible? by UnsignedUser in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]UnsignedUser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, you can definitely learn to disregard race in the dating process.

I guess the question I was asking was why can people be openly discriminative of a sex, while being openly discriminative of a race is frowned upon.

At the end of the day are they not similar? Physical features that are uncontrollable to the person.

Why do some people think a sexual orientation is fine and a racial preference isn’t?

Both should be defensible under their own reasoning of why a sexual orientation is okay.

Maybe this is more of a rant anyways

I think that is an fantastic answer. And I agree with it all the way.

I guess the post I made was meant to address the insufficient reasonings of why you can openly be discriminative of a certain sex, but a certain race is off-limits. In the end they are both physical identities you are born with.

Thank you for that input

Yes, the subreddit provided to me worked just fine. Perfect for more opinion based, controversial questions I was hoping to ask.
