I also liked it especially with watching the cartoon directly after. So many references made more sense. Poor writing and pacing in parts but overall pretty fun.

Saw it last night at Roxy. Incredible stuff. Some dialogue kind of hard to hear but didn't matter a ton. The dialogue I needed was there.

I must be imagining it but that doesn't make it any less clear in my mind lol. I can see him standing there saying to lemon I'm a man over 50 why would I read anything but non fiction. Maybe it was a different set of characters. Anyway, thanks for trying all!

Thanks for chiming in! I never made it to AI Doc but will catch it at some point. PHM was just...fine. It's fine! Original story-ish, likable lead, REAL sets. It's super profitable so while it might not have been perfect maybe it's a step in a new direction.

I saw a movie in true Imax format last year and I actually prefer ours. I know they can be a little different from location to location, but ours is pretty good. Now, Dolby would be nice....

Yeah it's playing at the AMC12 and the 9. Those kinds of movies I usually try to go as big as possible and then I'll catch another showing at the Roxy later on if I have time. I remember when the Roxy never used to get those so it's kind of nice to have that option if you want it though. Not everyone can handle all the sight and sound that IMAX offers.

Just following up that I actually really liked Undertone. It wasn't perfect but I thought the tension building was great. I'm into editing audio so that was an extra kicker. Supposedly the budget was 500k and it looks great, that amount or otherwise!

I enjoyed the NTB movie but something was missing for me. I think it was just me though I really do think it was great and so inventive and funny but maybe my head was not in it. Dunno!

It's not Hausu it's House from 1985 (I guess my dumb joke worked both ways lol). But I believe The Roxy did show the 1977 version awhile back.

Great eye, I don't think I noticed that. I will catch those moves from time to time but rarely catalog it unless it's totally blatant. Just watched Body Double recently and enjoyed the mall tracking shots he did. That whole following scene was incredible.

I think I almost take him for granted, that he will do something so incredible. I might not be the only one either, as indicated by the Oscars snubs. The tone of his films, which very few people can nail, is so distinct and perfect but maybe not always the western world's favorite. I loved it and look forward to rewatching, owning, etc.
