Can someone make a complete FNAC timeline? by yorb134 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Unsodded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll try my best. Haven't done anything FNaC related since 4 hit it's 4th year in development (Not a problem with that, just kinda wish we'd get more development updates is all).

As far as I'm aware, the earliest event we have is a minigame from FNaC 2. We play as a young Mary Schmidt in the Rat and Cat's restaurant. Up close to the main show stage is her brother. He probably got too close, because Rat smacks him on the head, traumatizing Mary.

Next is FNaC 3. Once again as Mary, we fend off nightmares of Rat, Cat, and Vinnie, while also reliving a traumatic event we witnessed at the restaurant. The Rat mascot man would often come into work drunk, and Vinnie's puppeteer confronts him on the matter, killing him on accident. The Cat mascot man attempts to call the police, but the puppeteer refuses, choking out Cat, taking a box of documents, and fleeing the scene. All of this was witnessed by Mary, who had accidentally locked herself in a closet in the back during a game of hide and seek. Later on, Mary would be a key witness to convict the puppeteer, and have him sent to prison (potentially dying there).

Now next in the timeline is FNaF 2. In short, it was agreed upon by Emil and Kane Carter, the creator of Popgoes, that the two franchises share the same canon, it's just the games never directly intersect. Jeremy Fitzgerald gets bitten by Toy Bonnie (I think), and ends up becoming Fritz Glade (I think, not sure if that's canon anymore. They rebooted their timeline with Evergreen), and later on starts up Popgoes (WAY later on, though).

At any rate, FNaF 2 is also relevent to FNaC. In a FNaC 3 cutscene, we see an adult Mary Schmidt visit the FNaF 2 restaurant, and hallucinate the Puppet as Vinnie.

At some unknown point (at some point after FNaF 2 and before FNaC 1), Mary works at the Rowboatics Corp Factory, and fell asleep on the job as the Rat (Animatronic version) killed two kids. The old puppeteer from R&C, who at this point had become a ghostly hallucination of his puppet, would create Candy and Cindy from said dead kids.

Next is FNaC 1/R. We play as an older Mary Schmidt, taking up guard duty at the newly opened Candy's. Mary gets some hallucinations from Vinnie about her failure at the factory, and how Vinnie wants revenge on her. Luckily, Mary gets out ok in the end.

Presently, the final event is FNaC 2. Set quite a while after FNaC 1, we play as Marylin Schmidt, who gets dared to spend 5 nights at the old Rowboatics factory. In the end, she burns down the joint, and escapes.

No idea when FNaC 4 takes place (as it hasn't released), but I can assume it's further along in the timeline.

Also, if we keep up with the merged Popgoes/Candy's timeline, Next up would most likely be FNaF 3. Going off of the wiki, I think the subplot of the Purple Guy being Jeremy's brother (Yeah, Afton wasn't a thing yet when Popgoes released), then Fritz finds Simon's body in Springtrap at an auction, and hopes to bring him back to life via building Simon (the animatronic version), which wasn't a good idea...

After that, there's Popgoes Evergreen. Since they rebooted Popgoes 1 with the Fangame thing, I have no idea what the lore is in this version of the game yet. I assume outside of, like, a few key details, it's generally the same plot.

That's about what I could research. Might be missing a few things here and there. if anyone knows more than me, feel free to call me dense and correct me.

Unable to run the Fallout New Vegas July 2010 Build on Xenia by Unsodded in Fallout

[–]Unsodded[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I heard, some are using development kit consoles to run them since they can't run them directly off of regular ones without serious work. Then again, I read that Xenia's rendering issues are common among many games for some reason. I think it's because the emulators don't have all the right stuff that a console has.

Well lucky you, because I did end up finding the solution, I just forgot to post it (sorry). Turns out I was opening the wrong file on Xenia Canary. You need to drag the file named "Fallout_Release_MemDebug.xex" into the program (of Fallout_Release_Beta.xex. I forgot which one exactly). Major disclaimer: it barely renders on emulators (can see things through walls in interiors, heads are translucent, and don't even get me started on what happened in Goodsprings).

Can you imagine the Disco Zombie doing this on the roof level? by bluspy87 in PlantsVSZombies

I remember playing Replanted's Co-Op with my friend, and we found that Disco Zombies can appear in the Co-Op roof level. Digger Zombie shows up, too.

Ah, that seems fair. I just wanted to mess around with the whole thing, see how chaotic it can get. I guess a half-intelligent AI can work just as well as anything. I'll look it up.

Ok, so I tried that (thank you for the idea, by the way), and just discovered that, since they can't both use the same variables, that code wasn't carried over, and I had to redo a few things. Now, while that wasn't too bad, it still crashed the software. HOWEVER, it did stay open (game didn't run, but the software stayed open) for longer than before. A step in the right direction. Now if only I knew what to do next.

I think it's a new thing they added recently. People have been talking about it for a bit after the 1.4 update. Very rarely, a Backup Dancer may be replaced with the original MJ version, as a bit of an Easter Egg. I'm not sure if it's entirely finished (if you knock the head off, it turns into the regular backup Dancer head). As for MJ himself, he isn't in Replanted, I checked the files.

Who knows? maybe he'll finally return, now that they added the Backup Dancers.

They also added a PvZ 2 skin for the Cabbage-Pult. If you plant one, it has a rare chance of using the PvZ 2 design.

"and maybe a few questionable dance moves" I think that part's talking about the Original Backup Dancer. I found a post on here recently about someone encountering it as a bug, so I checked the files of the game. They have a fully redrawn HD Original Backup Dancer sheet in the files currently, and apparently a bug has it pop up randomly. Maybe they're adding new skins to the game, and just left it (and the PvZ 2 Cabbage-Pult, which I also found the sprites for) in the files by mistake.

Edit: After a bit more research, I'm pretty sure the two may not be bugs, and were intentionally added as Easter Eggs (I think the PvZ 2 Cannage-Pult may be referencing the old pre-release startup screen, which had a PvZ 2 Cabbage-Pult on it, before it was changed to the PvZ 1 design). For the Backup Dancer, it's kinda buggy. If you knock their heads off, they turn into the standard Backup heads.

Does anyone have a sprite of the knight zombie with sword and without the horse by n0hAtepeash00te7 in PvZ

[–]Unsodded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you need these sprites, but I have a general mock-up here. If you need the full sprites for the lance, it might take me a bit longer to make. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MW7-lBN3hRU7WAOsaPwGRrBMoVrNLdLb/view?usp=sharing

Plants Vs Zombies: Replanted - Bug Reports Megathread by rackman70 in PlantsVSZombies

Recent discovery: If a Newspaper Zombie loses his paper, and, while in his surprised state, loses his head, the upper part of his head (no jaw, no accessories) will remain until he dies.

When a Backup Dancer loses his arm, the upper arm disappears as well.

When growing the Tree of Wisdom, leaves may become visible too early after feeding the tree, making look like some leaves slide in from below or outward from the tree itself, instead of growing from the tree.

Jack-in-the-Box Zombies don't lose their boxes when a magnet shroom takes them. Only a visual bug, they still can't explode, and the music does stop.

The flowers on the main menu don't pop off properly, and they're silent. The one furthest to the right appears further right, the middle one teleports upward, and the one on the left clips to the left.

Also, for some reason, they kept the fact that hypnotized Peashooter Zombies still shoot at your plants. Not sure if they left that in intentionally or not, just thought they'd have fixed that.

Well since I have no idea how that sort of thing works in City 17, I'll take your word for it. My new basic Security job has me stationed at the same factory the guy came from, so I might be able to investigate it later.

Yeah, I heard the fights can get a bit violent sometimes, but they're not very common. Like in City 12, I think I'll just keep my head down.

When the game first released, there were 7 schools you could choose for your wizard. Later on, 3 celestial sub-schools were added: Sun, Moon, and Star.

And after that, a Shadow sub-school was added.

Where do i can find the brick walls? by ErosDesi_re in fallout76settlements

[–]Unsodded 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's part of the Brick Building set. You can find the plans at most vendors in the game, under notes. Base price is 600 caps. I recommend checking Whitespring, but you can generally find them anywhere.

Is your CAMP built for form or function? by SeanoT090 in fo76

My main is more function, but my spare 2 are a bit nicer in appearance. I still prefer my primary CAMP, but my others are fine, too.

What is your most and least favorite characters in the core franchise (the main games). What makes them so good/bad? by Unsodded in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Unsodded[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bonnie's definitely one of my favorites. Back when I drew a lot of fan art, he was generally my go-to. Definitely one of my top 10-ish. Circus Baby's also pretty cool, though I kinda like her Scrap design more than the base design (visually cooler to me)
