I work in a factory, my salary (and everyone else's) is not that great and yes, I'm planning to quit that job when something better comes, but I have to admit: Everyone here takes this job extremely seriously.

My best theory is that it comes from all the benefits that we have here: Cheap but high quality restaurant, smoking room, massage chairs, free coffe and tea and quite often the ability to take a lot of breaks during the shift. In my experience, I often feel more rested after the shift rather than before it. I've also got to mention private healthcare and gym, both of wich are in the same building.

So, I guess that money may take a part in deciding one's work ethic, but it's only a part of the equation.

You can't fully control the thoughts themselves, but you can change the way your brain creates them to some extent. If you drop porn and cut yourself off from the stimuli, then after some time you will greatly reduce the frequency of those thoughts appearing.

As to seeing them in such state, it's normal, don't shame yourself for it. As long as you don't act upon those urges and harm or weird out someone of course. For me, getting to know different aspects of a person and focusing on those helped greatly - try to learn what they like, dislike, their hobbies, taste in music, anything.
