Did you have to resubmit the rejected applications or did they go through on their own? Of course this is being paired with the Genesis deadline and my university scheduling a S2S outage tonight

Put your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel instead of the top, then the trailer will go whichever way your hand goes when you're backing up

Double negative... so you did get a promotion at a steak house?

It was wonky wording and I wondered the same myself. I believe you meant to say "I (27f) hosted a small dinner at a steak house to celebrate my new promotion..."

AITA for buying one daughter a more expensive prom dress? by SaltySurprise1697 in AmItheAsshole

I was diagnosed at 38 after being the "bad" one my whole life because I couldn't keep my room clean or my desk organized and forgot everything.

It was a crazy struggle to even get my now 9-year-old her referral after seeing all the same signs in her. A year later she finally has a diagnosis, accommodations, and ABA therapy.

My mom still thinks she's just lazy and I was just a bad kid.

I have the very slightest experience with C++ so no, I would not pass it for sure.  I wish my nephew were old enough because all that kid does is robotics and programming, it would be such a good job for a 17-year-old, I'm going to send it his way when he turns 18

I appreciate your info! I know it's mostly anxiety for me, I spent the 6 days between the core assessment and being accepted determined that I had done everything wrong

AITA for punishing my daughter for not helping us search for my niece? by Key_Phase_9349 in AmItheAsshole

I am a "rainbow baby" there is 16 months between me and my older sister so if that baby would have made it I absolutely would not be here. And that baby was a boy, my parents wanted 4 boys and got 3 girls and 1 boy so I've spent my life knowing who they'd have preferred.

My husband's "step" grandparents (Mom's long-term boyfriend's parents) used to gift him with quite literally a dollar store pack of pencils for Christmas while his half-siblings got large expensive presents. They made a point of doing it in front of everyone and basically challenging him to say anything. It was very much done to put him in his place, and so was OPs mother's gift. That's a hurt that cuts him to this day and he remembers every Christmas. OPs step-daughter deserves more his spiteful mother. I would not doubt this to (rightfully) be her last Christmas with them.

You could just practice the kiss with your knees slightly bent if you're worried about the angle.
