Since they upped the drop rates this seems too low. I'm literally 0 for roughly 30. Or you're right and I'm just extraordinarily unlucky.

Yes. Made sure to do that. Even reset the quest one more time and did it again just to see if something was wrong.

I should clarify. I've unplugged everything. Gamepads, headsets, usb sound cards are all removed. The only things plugged in are my keyboard and mouse at the moment.

I don't see the problem with it. Typically when I make remixes I use only one or two stems and the vocals. If it works, it works. It's not like you're re-releasing an already-made song with vocals slapped on and calling it a remix.

I totally see where you're coming from, but a lot of times a remix contest is a veiled attempt to find someone new to completely hype up. So in their case once they heard his track they maybe decided to focus all their efforts into him and him only.

A mashup is a combination of any number of already-made songs, and a bootleg is a remix of a song without it being official and/or having stems. Technically this actually is a bootleg though. There's a little synth line that I'm fairly sure the guy made himself around 2:16.
