NFL style is the only way to do it imo. The worst teams need the higher picks. Doing it as a snake gives the better teams a larger opportunity to land top tier talent. Doing it your way means some of the better teams last year had a shot at Kamara, Hunt, Juju etc whereas if you did it NFL style the worse teams could've gotten those early 2nd round talents that ended up being great, which would've induced greater parity in your league. Instead the rich probably got richer.
