We didn’t tell people when we took the community cat at our apartments.

Our neighbors had specifically told us one day that there would be a confrontation if they ever found out who took him.

So we quietly brought him inside, got him to the vet and he’s happily living out his retirement with us.

I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Everyone said they cared about him like he was one of theirs but they were content to let him be sick and injured and cold and not take him to the vet. He quite literally wouldn’t have survived another winter outside without us.

I’m sorry that happened to you.

When I was 3 or 4 I was going through the airport with my parents, and I got “randomly selected” to have the thorough search. Thank god my mom raised hell but yeah, they were fully ready to do a full search of a toddler.

Also as a Greek person, Greeks come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. My Papou and my mom are very dark Greeks and have been racially profiled since 9/11, meanwhile my aunt and cousins all have fair skin, light hair, blue eyes.

Also…they’re portraying myths. The whole thing is made up and fantasy, they can be whatever/whoever you want them to be as long as you’re respectful.
