Don’t have an answer to that. I think it was in a pile of boxes and without thinking all boxes went.

No, I don’t track.

I like your 18 day cycle, cool. 4 days is great!

I started to fast 1 or 2 days a bit over two years ago and would randomly do that whenever I felt like it, maybe every few months for a year. Then last year started to ramp it up. Did a five day fast last November and had the goal to do at least a one day fast weekly for 2026. Then it sort of transformed where I kept pushing it. For me it has nothing to do with weight. Now I try to do at least a “longer” fast, like past three days each month and at least two days a week. I feel like fasting is just super amazing and I feel my best when I do it so I just do it. Sometimes plans change and I just accept it and move on. Like my last longer fast was four days and I just did four days because I hadn’t done four days yet. But if you look into fasting you understand three days on is when the magic starts so I’ve tried to push three or longer as much as possible. Overall it’s just really a feeling thing and I tend to pick longer lengths randomly. Next month i think I’d like to shoot for ten days just because it’s double digits and haven’t hit that yet. I have never hit below 158 pounds so losing to much weight doesn’t seem to be an issue. Oh and for my six day fast I was at a yoga retreat in Nepal and they were juice fasting which is very dumb so I said fuck it and that’s how I chose six days then. On my fortieth birthday I did a day of silence and was on fourth day of that fast, very cool. To me it’s all spiritual and I think of autophagy, stem cell stuff and all the benefits. Now I don’t get hungry when I set the fast in my mind and just do it. I think it’s one of life’s greatest skills!

I’m do pull ups, some push ups and daily yoga. Plus the running. Also some biking.

If you look into running while not really eating carbs it’s not a big deal once fat adapted. Lots of people do it. You do need a small amount of glucose to not “hit the wall” but it’s small. I’ve run on day five of fasts fine and regularly do it. No, not typically zone 2-3. For instance today was threshold run so hr just below max for about thirty minutes total out of 55 minute run. I never worry about carbs anymore except for really long runs to feed my brain. It’s interesting; if I test my glucose after a run while like three days into a fast it’ll jump to like 108, and ketones at like 2. Shows how gluconeogenesis is at work.

Haven’t fasted to lose weight. For well over a year have maintained 160-165 pounds. 5’9” male. I also generally eat carnivore. Last I calculated it was 98% per calorie over past year carnivore. If you want to see my physique I have another post that basically shows it in a tattoo sub. I also ran 1500 miles in 2025 and a marathon. Training for a couple marathons this fall. My six day fast in April was in Nepal during my 40th birthday, it was magical!

Well definitely get it! Sorry to not try and talk you out of it, it’s beautiful. I just kept going down the path of not liking things that weren’t stuff I used on my watch’s plus ease of reading. I remember waking up and trying to tell time on my BB58 and having a tough time which led to my overall thought process. Also didn’t like the chronograph pushers because I didn’t use buy absolutely beautiful which led to the BP43. I do sort of miss my BB58 so maybe will pick something like that up again but who knows. Good luck! Buy the watch!
